>Students from Ohio and Indiana have reported that their public-school blocks internet access to The Satanic Temple’s website while permitting access to other religious organizations’ sites. With the help of the ACLU and the Freedom From Religion Foundation, we put these two school districts on notice that this is discrimination and a Constitutional violation of our civil rights and they corrected the issue.

>In the process, we learned that hundreds of other schools contract their internet security to a private firm, Lightspeed Systems, that has been responsible for preventing access to The Satanic Temple website. We placed them on notice, but they have ignored our requests.

>Because we do not contract with Lightspeed Systems (many public schools do), we need to find public school students who are TST members and who object to having access to TST's website blocked on school computers. We intend to sue these schools so that Lightspeed Systems will be forced to stop their discriminatory practices.

>We encourage members to spread the word about Lightspeed Systems and their practices.

A couple months ago I posted about starting a satanic group here in KC... We had mostly wonderful response, so much that we were completely unprepared to handle all the questions and people inquiring.
Well I'm proud to say after months of hard work we have grown into something wonderful. We started as the Kansas City Satanic Grotto but have received a new designation. Under the watchful eyes of the The Satanic Temple we have been given the chance to organize and prove ourselves. The said, we do not represent or speak for the satanic temple in any way, we are a Friend's of group working toward a chapter. It'll be a long road but we have great people walking it together.

So, I've heard stuff before about CoS members and overall LaVeyan satanists saying that TST isn't 'real satanism'. What's the deal with this, and what does it mean? I've just assumed it was because TST is more of a political activist group rather than a legitimate philosophical/religious organization, but I wanted to hear other LaVeyan Satanist's opinions on the matter because it's pretty unclear to me.
Recently I came across a post about the Satanic Temple claiming religious immunity from the Alabama Supreme Court abortion rulings. They keep legal moves open to the public. This caused a slight influx in membership.

So I joined the Satanic Temple. It's free unless you want a membership card and then they ask for a $25 fee.

The tenets support kindness to others and personal autonomy. They don't actually worship Satan, but rather ask that you embrace your own beliefs and conduct yourself according to their Tenets.

This is a great way to oppose the patriarchy and protect your personal rights and beliefs. It's also a statement to both the government and Catholic/Christian churches about your choices and your body.

Hi all, I’m a member of what was originally a wee coven of the unofficial satanic temple of Houston that has just recently been inducted into the official Temple. I love our group of charitable, supportive, witchy satanists lead by a really knowledgeable guy. We have our book clubs, art shows, and coming up soon the Texan Impurity Ball where we get to meet all the other TST chapters.
I’m really proud of the team and happy to be connected with other Satanists this way. Love our temple. My personal goal is to get a physical temple in town.
