A list of puns related to "Temperate coniferous forest"
Why are these forests so acidic?
Big Sur, the Northern California coast + remaining PNW region of the US are basically exactly what I'm looking for. I know there's lots still to explore around there but I've already been around that coast a couple of times (and the US is expensive!).
I am looking for other regions in the world that have similar features: cliffs, big waves, angry oceans, foggy forests, and temperate to cold climates. I love it so so much! I believe Scotland and Norway have what I'm looking for. As does southern Chile and Argentina.
I would love to find an affordable place for a solo traveler to spend 1+ months and have easy access to the ocean, forests, and trails. Mountains are a HUGE PLUS!! Good infrastructure (e.g. strong wifi) is necessary as well.
If anybody knows of a place or two, please let me know. Thanks so much everybody.
EDIT -- Just wanna say THANK YOU to everybody who replied (and who is yet to reply hah!). Discovered some amazing new places and reinforced some others that have been on my bucket list. So excited to plan my travels to these beautiful destinations. You all rock!
Is it a matter of soil quality, water, sunlight, or some combination of all these factors?
I pretty much always play in temperate forests and would love to hear from you guys on what you like about other biomes. Is it just a difficulty thing or is it more than that?
My PC is a bit old (from 2014). I usually play on extreme biomes like sea ice and extreme dessert because animals rarely spawn and no trees there. Would love to play temperate forest with very few animals and trees. And yes, I already turned off the "animated trees" option to make the game runs better.
