A list of puns related to "South Coast Plaza"
Canada Goose has a new store at SCP. But why? LOL.

If this was posted a month ago or recently, I missed it and apologize.
There was a pretty nice little lounge at South Coast Plaza mall in Costa Mesa, CA where Platinum or Centurion card holders could get access to. I believe it was called ACCESS Lounge. You could go in and have a beer or champagne and some snacks (chips, nuts, cookies). It shut down due to COVID but the staff member said they re opened in November.
Anyways, just wanted to share that the AMEX card will not get you in. They make a one time exception so I was able to enter this time. It is/was a nice little hidden gem. Glad I tried it out a few times. I rarely have a reason to go to the mall so not a huge loss but was nice to stop in a few times a year. It was usually crowded and many would be on a waiting list but I never had to wait too long.
I'll admit that I've done this before. I've parked at South Coast Plaza and walked across the pedestrian bridge to see a show at Segerstrom. I do this for 2 main reasons:
It's free parking; and
I actually enjoy the walk across the pedestrian bridge. There are some nice views.
BUT, I've never done this before during the busy holiday shopping season at SCP. Are they more strict with parking during the holiday season? Has anyone actually been ticketed or towed while parked at SCP after they left their car there to go watch a show at Segerstrom?
Finally, a real day off tomorrow and we're heading out to Mitsuwa marketplace for lunch, then South Coast Plaza to get my smell on. I see that there is a Dyptique and Jo Malone store. I'm pretty new to fragrance and haven't tried anything from lines like MFK, FM, Creed, etc. Which department stores are best for sampling high end/niche stuff?
Anyone make a trip to the new boutique? If so, what are your thoughts? I was reading some posts on the Rolex forums and seems the store is very disappointing and playing the same games as other boutiques/ADs (e.g., no ROOs or ROs for sale, pushing the Codes, etc.). One poster mentioned that people stood in line 5+ hours the first weekend only to make it into the store and weren't able to buy anything.
Iβm going to be in the OC in August and I want to get an appointment to go to the South Coast plaza Chanel and not have to wait in a line to get in if I donβt have to. Does anyone have the contact info for a SA there? Would be so appreciative of any help!
No one would have gotten through.
HI everyone, in case anyone is interested, the New Balance Store in Costa Mesa, CA (South Coast Plaza) seemed to have a pretty good selection of 992 in grey, black, navy & white at about 4:30pm today...
