A list of puns related to "Simply Red discography"
idk why but i suddenly have this thought in my head and i donβt think i have to explain it much. these two songs have a significant depth of lyrics, esp on the ground, honestly if they change a bit of the arrangement i would really like this song. it is expected that blackpink songβs meaning often get pretty... shallow, or even if there is some parts that are actually deep and meaningful then it is followed up by some really weird lyrics that make no sense. and for songs that actually still hold meaning, its placement within the album gives off the vibe of out-of-context. for example in the ktl ep, hope not sure has meaning but when you compare it to the other 3 songs it just, unconnected within the album.
i just think in r, rose uses these two songs to represent two clear sides, her working life vs her personal/love life. and how the lyrics are written is also smart, you will notice they change some of the lyrics to βmatchβ the notes so itβs more melodic (sorry if that is not clear since english is not my 1st language) anyway thatβs all i just truly like how there were efforts in terms of artistry investing in songβs lyrics.
think of it as a writing, a story. if you study music there are melody theories that many songs just directly use it, but since they are catchy melodies even if the musical production is executed poorly, the song can still go viral. but the lyrics can only touch your feelings if the writers truly invest themselves in it
Before I start English isnβt my first language, so I apologize if there are any grammar mistakes.
Now, onto my point, sure the discography is good but everyone I see seems to think itβs the best discography theyβve ever heard. Like sure their songs are good but not to the degree Revluves make it seem like. Of course music is 100% subjective but in my opinion itβs a decent discography but definitely not the best Iβve listened to. Iβm not positive if this is popular or not so let me know.
Ok the title is dramatic but otherwise I didn't know how to say it to make it sound enough unpopular and clear (not just "the rap isn't strong" which is popular) lol.
I love Red Velvet discography. Yesterday I made a sad realization though: I often mentally remove the rap parts when I consider it a masterpiece and I'm not sure it's fair because they actually play a role in my listening experience.
I am listening to full albums a lot in this month and yesterday I was in the mood for some Perfect Velvet and I was shocked on how, track after track, the rap parts really ruin the whole experience. So I played RBB (I didn't have time for another full album) and... Same. I usually don't 100% realize it when I listen to one song, then another song by someone else and so on. But listening to the whole albums made me realize how the quality isn't the same if I really take into account the rap parts.
The rest is 11/10, really. But if I consider the rap parts 4/10, overall a song isn't no more a 10/10. And if it happens in every song, and even more evidently if you listen to them all in the same album, how could I say that their discography is a 10/10?
It's not just a matter of numbers of course, that was just to exemplify. It's more of a personal experience: you are listening to beautiful harmonies, am excellent use of the girls vocals, a good and often original structure... And then the rap comes in and it breaks the experience. When this happens 7/8 times out of 10 songs, my whole experience suffers from it, it's almost frustrating lol. Sometimes a bad part is just a bad part, but in RV songs these bad moments really ruin a beautiful bubble and I can't just "mentally removing" them because the whole experience instinctively takes it into account when this happens.
So... This is it I guess.
I'm just a year shy of being a millennial, but from what I have noticed, people nowadays (especially Gen Z) is much more self aware of toxicity and exploitation within a workplace. They leave jobs more quickly because they know when enough is enough.
The labour shortages and high turnover rates are because these jobs are not providing enough pay for the amount of work that is expected. It's unfortunate that there is this never-ending cycle of hiring employees, stressing them out with the amount of work expected from such a low number of employees on the floor, and then they get so burnt out that they quit and find another job.
Trust me, WE WANT TO WORK. WE WANT INCOME. But we need a job that can provide consistent hours and livable wages. Many jobs are not able to provide this, and job hunting has been nearly impossible.
This is just my opinion from my own personal experience as an older Gen Z essential worker in the US.
What I mean is, where is the line in recognizing someone you're datings weaker points/areas to improve and just simply ignoring red flags ?
The man (32) I've (32f) been casually seeing for a few months has presented some major red flags, but I always catch myself thinking that "maybe he just doesn't know any better", or "maybe no one has taught him better"
It always just felt like "no one has taught him how to be a boyfriend", and to be honest in my 32 years I can't say I've ever had to "teach" someone how to "be a good boyfriend", the relationship just is..and grows organically from my experience....
Anyways there are several instances that I've thought, am I being too harsh? Does he actually not know? Is he immature? Or is this a red flag, and I'm being an idiot?
For example:
-when we first started going out to places, he would avoid paying for shit at all costs, go to the bathroom when it was time to pay, avoid looking at or hearing the waitress, waited until I offered to pay.... red flag or immaturity? I told him this bothered me, now he over offers to pay for shit..
-he never thought about the fact that if we hangout at his house during dinner hours that I might actually be hungry, he always just ate before we hung out until I made a deal about it saying that it's really inconvenient that sometimes he says "yeah just go home if ur hungry" when I'm at his house. Red flag or area to grow? He has since become better with this but it all seems to revolve around him not wanting to spend money.
-for the longest time, he didn't want to put in the effort to come to my place at all. One day I told him that it wasn't fair all the driving I was expected to do to go to his place all the time (we live about 20ish mins apart in the same city). He lost it, then when he had time to think about it he realized it wasn't fair and he apologized and has since put in more effort.....
-touching on the last topic he never has food in his house. He eats the exact same meal everyday, and works somewhere
... keep reading on reddit β‘So I was listening to some Red velvet songs and this thought hit me. (note that I'm not a Reveluv so I'm not super familiar with the group)
I read many takes on Reddit on how Yeri doesn't add anything to the group since RV has everything to be a good group. They have a perfect main vocalist: Wendy, a great main dancer: Seulgi, a main rapper/visual: Irene and a good vocalist: Joy. No holes if you look at their positions. So when SM added Yeri to the group, people expected her to be super outstanding talent wise (maybe main rapper material). But were disappointed when she wasn't.
RV has this dual concept going on. And while It's true that Yeri doesn't stand out talent wise, the reason why I think Yeri is important to the group (other than variety and other things I'm not familiar with) is because she embodies this dual concept really well.
Most members of RV sound mature, meanwhile Yeri naturally sounds and looks cute in Red concepts. Her tone suits them really well. And in their velvet songs she sounds playful but still pulls off the concepts really well. She brings variety to the group even tho she doesn't get many lines.
Don't get me wrong, the other members are essential for the group. They are super talented and none of them can be replaced. It's just that Yeri is often regarded as a filler member even tho she isn't imo.
Okay, I hesitated before making this one...
At first, I want to say that I really like Red Velvet discography and I think this is one of the most solid discography I know among Girl groups (with Loona one, but remember I donβt listen to all GG).
This is simple, there is not one especially bad song, even if there is some songs I donβt like. Unlike most of kpop groups, I donβt know a Red Velvet song that has be described as « unlistenableΒ Β» for exemple.
There is also a lot of good and great songs, and a lot of songs I love adding to my playlists.
But I think the « solidity » of their discography is also its biggest problem (in my opinion).
To give an example, groups like Blackpink or Itzy (or even Twice) already gave songs that I absolutely hate (title tracks or bsides) and that I just canβt listen to.
But they also gave legendary song that are almost part of their identity now because how much they still are iconic. Fancy and Feel Special for Twice, Wannabe and Cherry for Itzy, Whistle, Forever Young and D4 for BP.
None of these groups discographies are as solid as Red Velvet one (in my opinion), but I think they had their legendaries moments.
When Red Velvet one, even if it as only good or great song, doesnβt have any song that really stand out for me, or any impressive moment in their discographies.
For me, the closest songs the group has were « Bad Boy » and maybe « Psycho », but both lacked a little something to really stand up and mark an historic moment in their discography.
This is the main reason ai found their discography great and pretty solid, but not so impressive.

I am looking in my area at different Sangha. One of the bigger ones seems alright, but also has like seven membership tiers, the cheapest of which is like $150 USD/yr. They donβt look voluntary like a recurrent donation plan would be.
I think thatβs a red flag, considering all the other Sangha Iβve contacted have been like βthank you for contacting us. I donβt know you but letβs be best friends forever.β Is my analysis accurate?

Is it possible that the normal everyday American who doesn't lean heavily left or right is just getting tired of all of it?
To the mooooon!
Sorry if this is kind of confusing, I'm trying to figure out the best way to say this. Basically...
Oasis's peak is universally considered to be in the 90's, and it makes sense. Definitely Maybe and Morning Glory are almost wall to wall bangers, albums filled with master songwriting craftsmanship and singing juxtaposed against raw rock and roll simplicity. Be Here Now is also not too bad of an album (though the length of certain songs and layering of guitars is a bit more for a few, myself included).
Two big things happened though between Oasis's 90's material and 2000's stuff: they had new members replace some of the old ones and their "style" evolved slightly. The former probably played a role in the latter (going from a Noel dominated group to a more diplomatic four-headed monster), but even on Standing on the Shoulder of Giants, Noel was already going through a stylistic change. According to Wikipedia:
>Noel decided to drop the equipment used in the three previous albums and instead buy "loads of really weird pedals, old guitars, and small amps", as the lack of deadline to deliver the album allowed Gallagher to "take quite a few days just messing around" and attempt new musical sonorities.
In that respect, Giants is arguably Oasis's Revolver in the sense of an album that was made during a long period of free times which lead to experimentation within the studio. Giants (which I consider to be one of if not the strongest of their 2000's albums...Dig Out Your Soul is another contender for me though), was the album where Oasis started shifting away from their heavy focus on loud and simple rock and roll bangers with a few ballads sprinkled in. Obviously, those two styles still exist on the rest of their 2000's material, but you also saw more excursions into psychedelia, 2000's indie rock, and various other things.
The catalyst for me writing this was going through an unpopular opinion thread and someone complained about how Oasis started falling apart when Guigsy and Bonehead left. They were an integral part of the band, but Oasis couldn't keep working in the same framework forever, could they? Great bands evolve. Oasis wrote a lot of their best material in the 90's, but we still have stuff like Go Let it Out, Let's All Make Believe, Gas Panic!, Little by Little, The Importance of Being Idle, Meaning of Soul, Part of the Queue, Bag it Up, The Turning, Ain't Got Nuthin, and the hail mary of them all, *The Shock of t

How many of you lot think you could do it for every song??
