Is there any research on using food to regulate the nervous system and meet a sensory need?

It’s hard to google this, a lot of it gets piled under diet advice, or advice for parents with autistic children.

I haven’t been able to find anyyy info about adults with trauma who use food to calm the nervous system and who seem to be seeking particular sensory input.

I noticed recently that I reach for chewy foods when I need to chill out from flight, and reach for crunchy foods when I need to get out of freeze. Besides blowing my mind, I have no idea where to go with this. Is there other ways to meet the sensory need without eating? Another way to bring myself back to the parasympathetic system? Are there any books or resources on this?

Does the autonomic nervous system contain sensory neurons

It's clear it contains motor neurons. It's clear the somatic ns contains both. But does the autonomic ns, parasympathetic or sympathetic, contain sensory neurons, to relay maybe how the targetted organ is doing to the brain, even if we do not consciously feel it?

Enemy technology is part of the information technology system. The points made by the many wounds (where the nerve), the neurons, and the parts of the side made the circle. Common processes include hearing, hearing, touch, growth, head and balance. In short, moving the head from the body earth when we see where we explain the word, relating to the knowledge of the world around us.

Teams need knowledge to eliminate three problems: (a) stability, i.e., homeostasis; (b) organizing (e.g., altering or altering) or organizing activities among the rebels; and (c) conducting investigations into gun-related matters (e.g., staff and judges). What is the sensory sampling rate of the human nervous system?

For example: how many impressions can I feel on my hand in a minute? Does the brain β€œask” for new information from the senses, and if so, how often? I guess I’m more asking about sensory input than regulatory function.

In another way, if I could slow down time, are there β€œpulses” of neuronal activity?
