Is my sarracenia purpurea getting ready to flower?
Not as flashy as other Sarracenias, but I think S. purpurea is one my favorites.
Now that covid has mutated down into a mild cold (Omicron) and is over, looks like Bill Gates is getting ready for plan B which is to release Smallpox, 30% mortality rate. Is my sarracenia purpurea defective?
It’s a lovely plant, but this morning I watched as several medium and large flies climb in and out of the pitchers (like 4+). Aren’t the flies supposed to have trouble climbing out?
It’s otherwise a beautiful, healthy plant that grew so much this season I had to go up a pot size. But I would prefer if it helped catch bugs like my other carnivorous plants.
I've had my VFT and Sarracenia purpurea outdoors in Northern IL (Zone 5b). They are starting to go dormant. Do they need light during there dormant period? I'm planning on overwintering them in an unheated, windowless garage.

Buy your Sarracenia Purpurea before it’s to late
Just bought Sarracenia Purpurea herbal medicine known to stop small pox in its tracts after 12 hours of taking it but the real stuff is going fast so buy some while you still can, I just searched up Homeopathy Sarracenia Purpurea on eBay it’s best to get the (1000mL) or (200mL) but (30mL) will work just fine if that’s the only thing left.
So.. I have a sarracenia purpurea, and I want to make a terrarium for it, (50 l) but I want to put some other carnivorous plant next to it. Will they be happy together? Or what else should I put in here?

I live in Minnesota and am looking to add a Sarracenia purpurea and another ping to my collection, but my indoor space is crowded. If I leave these in pots over the winter, what things do I need to take into consideration? Can I just leave them out there during the prolonged winter?
When should I move my Sarracenia purpurea outside?
It's been inside since I have gotten it (begin January) and it has always been room temperature (21°C or 70°F). Since it is now summer where I live and temperatures are around 18-20°C (64-68°F) I was wondering if it is a good time to move it outside? Nights are around 14°C/57°F. It is my first ever carnivorous plant, I don't want to do anything wrong! Any advice is appreciated!
