I just moved to Solana beach for the summer and I'm looking for fairly competitive, but social group rides mainly to meet people. Obviously there's tons of cyclists on the 101.
So far I've been able to find Swamis cycling club, and the Eliel factory( this seems more like rapha cycle club?) team.
Are there only well known group rides that start somewhere north of La Jolla / Del Mar?

I was stopped in San Diego, and blew a .19. I spent 12 hours in jail. It's been just under five years since my first DUI. My trial is in November, and I have three days to call the DMV for a hearing. I'm gainfully employed, and I've been attending an alcohol recovery program for two months already on my own. I want to see if getting a lawyer would help me any better than a public defender in this case, and any insight would be appreciated.
I'm most worried about jail time and being away from work and kids. In San Diego County, jail time for a 2nd DUI appears to be 96 hours to one year. How likely is it that I can serve the jail time as work release?
I'm told I'll probably lose my license for two years. Has anyone been able to get a restricted license for driving to and from work?
