Does anyone know how fast the primitive sites are taken on weekends at Sweetwater or Laguna Mountain in Paicines? If they are full, are there fairly easy to spot dispersed camping close, off of the roads? I can see them from my FreeRoam app, but not sure if they are clear for camping and have privacy. I'm looking to have my car close - not backpacking.

I'm trying to sort out a little camping retreat here and I've seen some blog posts and such from folks saying they got cell service here. The length and details of my trip will change drastically if this is the case -- I work remotely and to be able to tune into work for a few hours every day or every other day will allow me to stay a lot longer. Have you had bars? How was the service?
Hey does anyone know if the locations to purchase an adventure pass are open at this time? Where is the most convenient place to buy a pass for someone coming from the city? Thanks!
