A list of puns related to "Røde Microphones"
Hi,
I recently tested the microphone that comes with the g pro x wireless and it sounds awful! So I'm looking to upgrade the mic.
I'm looking at the Røde Lavalier Go and was wondering if anyone would have any experience with this microphone, coupled together with the g pro x wireless. I'm planning on doing a VR stream, so having the microphone be connected directly to my headset would be best, since the cable would otherwise need to be ridiculously long c:
Would connecting the lavalier go directly into the mic slot on my headset make the quality worse than if I plugged it directly into my pc?
Thank you in advance!

About a year ago I bought a RØDE NT-USB MINI USB. It worked well for around 8 months but then I started experiencing issues. The output of the mic would randomly become virtualized and distorted as if I was speaking like a robot, then it would go back to normal on its own. I've done rigorous searches and have tried every "fix" for microphones in Windows 10. I've attached an example of the output I get when saying ones and o's. Any new idea is greatly appreciated.

So I'm using the NT-USB for about half a year now with the table stand it came with. It's okay but not perfect where a microphone arm would be much more comfortable.
There comes in a problem tho, I have little "walls" on all sides of my table which makes it impossible to mount a normal microphone arm on the edge.
Does anybody know of a good fitting arm which I could mount on the leg of the table? All common arms need to be mounted vertikal, I need one that can be mounted horizontal.
I’ve worked very very minimally with microphones. I used to own a tascam but it was stolen :(. I need all the help I can get to start recording. I’m looking for product recommendations for wires and things because I only have the microphone. Thank you so much!!!!!!

when i use the mic over longer times it will just go to hell, my headphones that are connected with the 3.5mm jack will make a super weird distortion noise. I don’t know why this happens but if anyone knows anything i can try to do to fix this problem i appreciate it alot
Something that is adequate for the weight of a RØDE Procaster.
No overhead style stands. My canine friend (I live in a condominum, so making it wait in the garden, to start recording, is not something I can do) would probably collide with that thing, damaging the stand and the mic.
I checked (online) some stands you put over your desktop, but not all of them seem so safe, for a Procaster.
I also want FL Studios installed on my computer, working, with it being covered for by the developer(s^?) of the program.
Please I just wanna make music and do something productive instead of sittin around all day
So I’m looking to get a Zhiyun Smooth 4 for my mobile video setup, and I’d like to use my Røde Videomicro with it. I know there are coldshoe mounts available for this gimbal to make that work nicely.
The only problem is that I‘ve yet to find a good angled Lightning-to-Lightning Audio or angled Lightning-3.5mm adapter, otherwise I’d have to offset the phone in the gimbal’s clamps too much for my liking (as the Lightning port is blocked by the gimbal). Here you can see what kind of adapter I mean.
The one used in the image has some pretty bad reviews, showing the unit breaking quickly under small load. So, is there one that any of you have used that’s better quality?
I am recording voice-overs on powerpoints with a RØDE NT-USB I got a week ago. It is picking up the slightest of tongue movements - licking, clicking, swallowing, etc - even with the pop filter attached, and this can be distracting.
I am recording at 35% gain volume and have tried moving closer to / further away from the microphone. No matter how much I attempt to control my speaking style, it still picks up those noises.
If I bought a windscreen, would I be able to use it in conjunction with the pop filter and would that help minimize these sounds? Would it still produce good recording quality with the windscreen and pop filter being used at the same time?
Hey guys!
I just bought a Panasonic G85 as I'm starting on a film school, and we need our own equipment (doesn't have to be fancy, it's just so we can practice and do small projects)
Therefore I'm also looking at microphones, and have been looking at the saramonic Sr-pmic1 which fits my budget. Other than that I've been looking at the røde videomic go, and was wondering what you guys think?
I would like to put it directly on my camera, as I'll be doing run and gun as well as steady shots.
Both cost the same, but I'm heading a little bit towards the pmic1 as it has low-cut function. However I've never heard of this brand before, and it's difficult to find any reviews on it, so maybe someone in here has some experience with it?
I'm gonna be using it for all round recordings (yes I know it's not perfect, but it's fine for the school)
Thanks so much in advance!
