I know there are a lot of people disappointed with Reptile’s appearance. He doesn’t appear as the green palette swapped ninja as we came to know him from the very first Mortal Kombat game. However, I found his appearance in the film to be pretty cool. He actually resembled...well...a reptile! 🦎. I have no issue with this as I feel like there are more than enough palette swapped ninjas in the franchise. Sub-Zero and Scorpion are not only the two most popular ninjas but two of the most popular characters in the franchise. If they were the only two ninjas that appeared in future films I’d be happy. Ok although I do really like Rain and Smoke (he can come in cyborg form and I’d still be ok). Did anyone else like Reptile or was ok with his form in the film?
Does anyone know where I can get my MK1 boy reptile Everywhere I look he's just gone if anyone can find anything please let me know
Hey guys! So I saw MK the other night and quite enjoyed it. Reptile is my favourite character - particualrly because he is (for me at least) an anti-hero fighting for a good cause but on the wrong side.
Anyways, I wasn't expecting him to be in the new movie but when he was I had mixed feelings. My two criticisms are that I wish he appeared in humanoid form (MK X) and had more of an arch. But obviously I was just glad he was in it. His lizard design was EPIC and his (SPOILER) death scene was hilarious.
What did you guys think?
Round 1 they are in the jungle from Predator 1. Both appear on opposite sides they know they have to kill the other but don't know were they are. Both have standard gear.
Round 2 in a fight mma fight ring both unarmed.
Round 3 in a open area.They start100 metres apart with standard gear.

Now I'm sure it hurts, but I'm pretty sure his acid spit doesn't go through skin or metal, and in his fatalities where his acid does melt his oppent, it's usually after he basically showers the opponent in the stuff
But in all the shows, and films, I remember watching his acid spit, is always portrayed as someone that can easily melt stone, wood, and metal, forcing his oppentet to dodge it
The Reptile fight in MK1 has been documented pretty well as of today. We even know how often the shadows on The Pit's Moon would appear now, (Think they appear every 40th round) but I've never seen anybody who knows exactly how often Reptile himself would drop down before a round and give a clue on how to find him. I've always just heard it's "pretty rare." I wonder if it's another arbitrary number of rounds, or just plain chance. Just curious if anyone's cracked the code on that.
