Which kharacter are you most looking forward to seeing more of in the sequel? Mine would have to be Ludi Lin as Liu Kang. He fully embodied a more grounded rendition of the Shaolin monk, and some of his mannerisms reminded me of Bruce Lee in his classic films. Perfect casting imo

I read the play, “ The dybukk” and I want to see a film version. Is the 1960 or 1937 film a better rendition of it.

What have you discovered regarding the pronunciation of Pynchon’s invented words through listening to the audiobook renditions and watching the film version of Inherent Vice ?
For example, I used to think Wolfmann was pronounced “Wolf-min” but the film has the name stated as “Wolf Man”
Inherent Vice’s multisyllabic “Chryskylodon” is pronounced aloud in the film, as well.
GR’s tricky “Tchitcherine” is, of course, pronounced in the audiobooks.
Do you take these pronunciations as “definitive” ? Do ya think Pynchon himself would’ve given guidance for such things?
