Does a combination on pommel horse count as 1 or 3 skills? Also how do combinations on pommel horse work because I was reading the CoP and this part was melting my brain?

I've always found this really badly explained by the game (in fact, not explained at all). Especially in NG+, increasing the equipment level costs an arm and a leg, often for ridiculously tiny stat increases of 2 points per stat. That makes me think there must be something more to it, but the game never makes this clear!
I'm looking for people who actually tested it out and have data to back it up, or who have a citation from a developer about this subject. If no one has, I just might test this statistically myself... I just gotta figure out the easiest/most reliable way to do it.
I'm considering making a sword, probably from a suspension spring, and I think a basket twist as a pommel would look nice. I would probably try and make it 1 1/2 inch wide at the top, tap and die the pommel and a rounded off bit at the bottom of the Tang, and screw it together. Is this something that's done often? I can't find any pictures or videos of it, is there a reason for that?

I'm ordering a feder from Sigi. I'm probably getting a standard length with a U-guard + a single side ring. What I am wondering is if a wheel pommel would be beneficial or detrimental or neutral.
Does anyone have this pommel on a feder? What are your thoughts?
I have tech machines, I love them except for the real lack of pommel in the first position. I was spoiled and got to use a friends Cassin X dream tool and the nice girthy pommel on that sucker made me jealous.
Has anyone made a clamp on pommel expander so-to-speak? If not I was thinking on making an aluminum clam shell that clamps through the pommel spike with a fastener.
It would definitely save some time if there was already a design I could copy
Interested in trying a pistol grip with a heavy pommel - can you do this? What are the advantages or disadvantages?
And how easy is it to switch pommels? What tools do you need?
I recently rewatched a video (Modern Rogue video with the guys from the Austin Historical Weapons Guild) on how to fight with longswords just for fun and noticed Anthony from AHWG told them to never grip the pommel when swinging the blade. I found this strange as I've always found it comfortable to have my off-hand on the pommel when cutting and in guard, with the other up near the crossguard. Is this just down to personal preference or am I suffering from bad technique?
Just got GOW on pc and im really enjoying it, really good game.
I remembered a while back seeing something about a secret pommel and went back looking for it.
found an article about it and went of to the bridge to get it.
Problem is cant get the gong to sound. I've got the directions right next to me but no matter how many times i reload the area i cant get it to sound.
help pls
