As the Howling Griffons descended on Dennar IV, they found only a handful of its city-states holding out against the horde of Chaos Cultists and daemon-possessed madmen, their walls packed with refugees fleeing the tide of mass-murder that had engulfed the planet.

So yeah. The people of Dennar IV fought back against the Chaos cults so ferociously that they earned the respect and lasting protection of the Howling Griffons. They've basically got an entire Astartes chapter on speed-dial if they're in trouble--something not many planets in the Imperium can boast. Must have been one hell of a fight. Space Marines are not easily impressed.

Are the two of them that were around Mercury and Mars now gone, disappeared along with the planets? Will they just dissipate as the dark matter is drawn to other planetary bodies? Or are they still there just chilling because something something paracausality?
