A list of puns related to "Page orientation"
Before you guys bash me, I am a part of the lgbtq and am accepting of everything. What I mean to say is that sometimes (especially on ao3) when the tags about the lgbtq aspect of the story are excessive, explaining every single minutia, I feel patronized and feel like the character is only rendered to their identity a weird kind of objectification. Maybe the reason I feel iffy about it is because this isnβt done in het pairings or cisgendered or gender conforming people. They donβt have to have or need a justification or a one page explanation they are just accepted beyond their identity and itβs not turned in to a spectacle on itself. Does anyone else have that weird feeling? For example Sometimes I see a pairing I love and I just donβt want to read it anymore because the tags feel so condescending I feel like Iβm being schooled before I even start the story. I guess I could be considered poc but seeing for example tags that make such a big deal out of it makes me feel βotherβ when the same thing isnβt done for het, white, or cis pairings βwhiteβ isnβt written on the tags like some kind of novelty. Idk sorry this is all over the place I just want to know what you guys think. PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL TO EACH OTHER IN THE COMMENTS!
I have had Apple Watches for a few years (S1, S3, and recently purchased S6) and always got annoyed that my hand would press against the crown causing Siri to ask βwhat can I help you with or I canβt understand, will you repeat yourself?β. I honestly thought I knew everything about this little device but boy was I wrong! So grateful I came across other users who posted pictures showing they could change the orientation/crown placement on the Apple Watch βοΈ! Yβall have been a lifesaver to my music, podcast, and workouts!
New Watch orientation is Left wrist - Digital Crown on left side
(it feels upside down but at least Iβm not accidentally pressing the crown button anymore)
Iβve got the iPad Pro 10.5. It used to show a two page view of any books I was reading in portrait mode. But now it only shows one page at a time. I canβt find an option to change this. Anyone know how this can be changed??
that's it.
So hey people,
pretty much as the title says. My system is set in English, as I prefer it to my native language' although work and college require me to use my native right-to-left written language and I cannot for the life of me find the place to change the orientation.
Thanks for anybody who can help!
update (self solved) - apparently the option is in the view tab under page size
Reddit is one of the oldest and most interesting places of internet. However, it comes with its set of unwritten rules.
New users don't know the nuances and the small things that make reddit what it is. They don't know how it is different from instagram and facebook. The No Emoji rule is just one example among many others. So the new users will get down voted because of these unwritten rules, and it just results in them getting discouraged. Instead if there could be a reminder or a page full of these minute details about behaving on reddit, that pops up mandatorily just before a person starts using it, that would be much helpful.
Also, people would think more clearly before posting and commenting because of this, and hence there would be less amount of shitty content, which would be a boon for regular users.
Itβs infuriating. Of course Iβm scrolling through reddit in bed, on my phone, horizontal. I guess I should adopt the lock screen rotation thing but I always end up forgetting I have it on and then being confused why things wonβt rotate later but that sounds like a me issue huh. Regardless, this is definitely a bug.
It seems to happen with every type of media that is able to be rotated to landscape instead of portrait. After swiping away the photo/media, it shows you where you were, but as soon as you touch the screen to continue scrolling it shoots you super far up to where you were like 10 minutes ago.
Iβm a UNT freshman signing up for orientation and the receipt page wonβt show up. Anyone else having the same problem? Really need some help here.
Hey, so.
I have a PDF of a book I want to send to someone. However the PDF has all the pages rotated 90 degrees clockwise. The last time I used acrobat reader the free version was limited in functionality.
So I figured I would just ask. Can I batch-rotate everything in the free version of Acrobat? If not is there a good free PDF editor?
Hello,
I have a PDF that is really annoying me.
The thumbnail is 180 degree difference compared to the actual page content.
When I go to use the rotate function, the thumbnail goes to the correct orientation but the page content is now rotated 180 degrees and is wrong.
How do I line up the thumbnail orientation AND the actual page orientation is the same?
