A list of puns related to "Widescreen"
I thought it was just a one time thing with Miami Vice (2006), but nah I went to watch The Thin Red Line and they zoomed that shit in too. Sad that a bunch of headasses who donβt clearly give the slightest shit about movies run these garbage βstreaming services.β Peacock is a free service and they had Miami Vice in the right aspect ratio. Iβm on a free trial btw, I would never pay for this shit.
Edit: Holy shit they did Apollo 13 dirty too. Nah Iβm done. Hope Starz goes out of business so the better streaming services can get the movies on there
EDIT: Vitor's Super Mario World widescreen patch is available: https://github.com/VitorVilela7/wide-snes#download
This release contains some rushed fixes. Extensive testing would be much appreciated.
I hope to have fixed some of the setting override (BSO) issues on Android. If you are still affected, all settings can now also be set manually in the core options. (BSOs usually contain comments that make finding the settings easy.)

I like many of you was disappointed by the pillarboxed conversations/in game rendered cutscenes. Flawless Widescreens new update includes a plug-in for all 3 games in the trilogy that not only removes the pillarboxing but adds fov sliders for gameplay and cinematics. Not sure who made the plug-in but thank you so much. Now we can all enjoy all 3 games for the first time in ultra-wide glory.
Update 1: for those who have never used flawless widescreen. Here is the link to their page: https://www.flawlesswidescreen.org
Update 2: for those only able to get mass effect 1 working, but not 2 and 3. There may be an issue with the language you play in. If you play in English it works on all 3 games, some people here have reported that French keeps the fix from working in 2 and 3. Unsure if other languages have this same issue.
Update 3: 5-17-21 flawless widescreen update reads that it has fixed the module for foreign languages.
Please excuse the desk clutter and the cabling that needs a bit of TLC, but I thought I would share the setup I have.
2 x 27" 2K 1440p (16:9) Dell monitors flank a Samsung G9 (32:9) providing a screen resolution of 10,240 x 1440.
It is fairly immersive for gaming, and pretty useful for work too.

I know widescreen is the preferred viewing experience but I could have sworn I remember seeing it available at Walmart once in 4:3 (old cube tv).

thanks
I don't know about anyone else, but I use the snap a lot. While it does help if I am only using two applications, I like having more than that when I am multitasking for game development. Manually setting up the windows for more than two Every. Time. is a pain.

Just curious, because if i'm going to rewatch this show, it's going to be in the manner that Mutant Enemy intended, not this HD widescreen garbage that Passion of the Nerd and others have warned people to avoid like the pleague. I know Hulu has the series in SD but its still in widescreen so you still end-up seeing all kinds of shit you're not supposed to see(the blowtorch when Dawn is breathing fire, the crew members on the rooftop fight)so before I commit to buying this box-set I want to be sure what i'm getting myself into.
In anticipation of Vitor Vilela's Super Mario World widescreen patch I have added support for dynamic patches and setting overrides to the libretro core. This means that RetroArch users can now enjoy the same near zero configuration effort previously only available in the standalone version.
