A list of puns related to "Napoléon"
I'm juste starting the game so sorry if i'm wrong. But i've nerver had the évent lg1848 revolution that brings Louis-Napoléon to the power. Plus, i've put the bonapartist party in power but I don't have any event or pop up for the imperial restauration. Is it normal or am i doing something wrong ?
I am confused on what the Napoléon Cognac is. I read it’s aged for 6+ and average of 20 years. I just want to know what I should except from that type of Cognac.
Now, I want to know why u/cognac-expert is banned from the form. I really like the post and help provided.
Edit: Here is the Cognac that the question is based off https://www.cognac-expert.com/napoleon-cognac/pierre-ferrand-10-generations-grande-champagne

Chers amis rouennais,

I'm the guy who sees stars shining bright in this young lady and her trusty partner as they fight against the fate of the world! Go ahead and lead the way! My cannon's yours to command!
Napoléon Bonaparte was the Emperor of France, and the commander of the seemingly unstoppable Grande Armée. Nation after nation fell under his conquering boot, and his empire stretched from the shores of the Atlantic to the slopes of the Urals to the sands of Egypt. However, a coalition formed against Napoléon spearheaded by Britain, and Napoléon lost at his infamous stand in Waterloo.

This is an idea I have been kicking around awhile. I am not skilled enough (nor have the time or software rn) to make cool maps and wiki articles for this so if anyone wants to that would be awesome. This is just gonna be a basic lore dump (feel free to add your own details) Basically the Prince Imperial Napoléon Eugène Louis doesn't died to the zulus. Instead of being overwhelmed and killed, he suffers two wounds in a desperate fight and is captured rather than killed. This is because he is able to explain in broken zulu that he is a royal. (British taught him this phrase as a precaution) And as he fought bravely. He is later released in exchange for a ransom and pledge to never take up arms against the Zulu kingdom again.
Eugene learns caution from his experience and continues to serve in the British army fighting with distinction in both boer wars and several other a African conflicts. Eventually achieving the rank of major general or as he insisted on being addressed general de division. Alas despite his military exploits and sterling reputation in the British army (other than his rough start) his cause at home remains a vain hope as the third Republic continues to be popular and stable.
Then the Great War breaks out and the 58 year old grizzled veteran begs the french government to be allowed to fight for France, but they refuse. However, he pulls his weight to be the first British expeditionary soldier to step foot on french soil. Where he goes on to become the hero of Mons. As the war goes on he submits endless transfer and enlistment requests to the french army all denied. The French government are even upset he is there in the first place and demand he be stationed in Belgium. (Where he becomes good friends with the soldier king Albert.) Meanwhile, he is promoted to lieutenant general in the British army (still demands in the Napoleonic tradition to be addressed as general de division since he is not a marshal)
Finally with plummeting front line moral in 1916 and multiple assurances from Eugene as to his political intentions (official renouncement of imperial claims dissolves the empire gives up throne swears loyalty to Republic ecetra) Eugene is granted his request and inters the french army as a second lieutenant. However despite the best efforts of the third Republic he quickly rises to colonel (another little colonel like his most famous ancestor) advancement beyond that though is militantly blocked. He is sent to Verdun (hopefully to di
Did Napoléon ever comment or express any opinion on Simón Bolívar or his idea of Gran Colombia? There was probably a very short period where they were both technically fighting the Spanish at the same point in time, so was that ever acknowledged?
