A list of puns related to "Ovary (botany)"
I'm so tired of women saying things like "my ovaries are on fire" when they see a kid, a baby or a good dad. I think it perpetuates the false stereotype that we are controlled by our hormones. I have ovaries too and eventhough I don't like kids, sometimes I think some are cute but that doesn't mean I want to change their diapers or pop one out. I was bingoed by two friends of mine, both men, who said that I would change my mind when I'm 35 (I'm 29) because of my hormones. Wanting a baby has nothing to do with hormones !!!!
I guess that's why they ovary act.
He said βIβm sad that youβre leafing, but glad to see you branching outβ
awhile ago I had the though of how great it would be if instead of having to do injections every week I could just grow a pair of balls. i was curious about it and I looked it up.
turns out in 2009 an experiment was done on mice and they were able to turn the ovaries of female mice into testicles by suppressing a gene. The mice ended up producing equal levels of testosterone to regular male mice.
this is such an amazing discovery and It's very sad it doesn't get talked about
I'll be minding my own damn business, then all of a sudden next thing you know I'm crumpled on the floor in a ball of pain because of two tiny ass egg sacks in my body that woke up today and chose violence.
Edit: probably should clarify, I flaired this as a meme post because no, I'm not actually sobbing on the floor from pain of period cramps. It's just uncomfortable, I'm not in any actual pain, I was trying to joke about period cramps lol
I (24M) got a girl aged 23 pregnant, and the issue is that when she went to the hospital, the doc said, she's got complications and if she proceeds with the abortion she'd lose her ovaries. Her dad found out about everything and he's pressuring into marrying her daughter, on the grounds that I've destroyed her future, and I have to marry, I wanna know, is it possible for abortion to cause such complications?
Update: she did the abortion (if it was ever there), she told me that the doc said that, she should be going for check ups, I asked her about the ovaries then she said, the doc will do a fertility check at the end of the check ups. In my mind I am like, wow π, what a great, it even offers free fertility check, nice, who are these good Samaritan. We had a long conversation and it left me with two options, she's either the best liar or she's just being deceived by the doctors.
Country: Russia But we are both foreign students.
I wanted a way to quickly figure out what I might want to farm with botany while I wait for a queue at a given time, or to quickly work out where to go if I wanted scrips, materials or Aethersand. I couldn't find one, so I patched one together in GIMP. It isn't pretty, but functions.
Thought maybe somebody out there might find it useful.
I guess it always made sense why I was kinda already naturally built, aside from it running in my family as well.
After being self diagnosed for 4 years and me having symptoms since the age of 10. Your typical facial hair, body hair, etc.
After finding a doctor to take me seriously, Iβm excited to finally treat this.
Iβm so tired of shaving my face and body hair.
But at the same time, Iβm hoping me being naturally built doesnβt go away.
I understand a lot of people with PCOS are built differently. But something always told me since my testosterone levels were high along with androgens it also helped me put on muscle and retain it.
Hereβs the study to back up my claim: PCOS and muscle link.
What do you guys think? Will my ability to stay built without working so hard diminish once I get a start on treatment?
I still go to the gym. Just donβt wanna lose muscle mass or have to work super hard. I canβt stand the body hair, but I love how strong Iam, how built Iam and just overall how my body looks.
I could definitely lose some pounds here and there, but I love how built Iam.
Hey guys, I know this question gets asked a lot so I apologize in advance. But the title really says it all. Iβm interest in working on field research and how plants interact with the environment and also some of the taxonomy stuff. Part of me is also interested in the more horticulture side of things like owning a plant nursery or being a plant grower of sorts. Any direct would be great!
I'm coming back to the game after a few years and botanists are making me remember why I stopped.
I usually play chef or bartender on a heavy rp server which generally means I need some amount of produce from hydroponics since the supplies in my vending machines won't last forever because I actually do my job. I'm always nice and polite and I go over there in person at the beginning of the shift to ask that they grow a couple of things that I know I'll need.
99% of the time they ignore me, send me nothing and spend the entire round breeding more and more potent strains of weed. This has happened in every round I've played in the past week and its so irritating.
Multiple departments can't do their job properly if you're too busy hacking vending machines because hurr weed funny and I get that everyone is entitled to have fun their way but that includes me too and having to leave my kitchen to beg for produce and meat crates from the quartermaster who may or may not actually get the things i ask for is the opposite of fun
seriously am I just being overly sensitive or is this genuinely a problem on other servers too?
Title says all.
Questions regarding plant ID should go to r/whatplantisthis, people are more willing to id plants there. Questions regarding diseases or pests should go to r/plantclinic. Similarly gardening tips and tricks and the sort should go to r/Horticulture or r/gardening etc.
It's fine but it kinda dilutes the content for me
Anyone know how thick the ice is on botany pond? Saw a table and chair on the pond and kinda wanna sit on it but I also don't want to die a watery death in the weird waters that is botany pond. Thanks :)
Edit: I successfully crossed the pond. Next goal: cross lake michigan
Would anyone be willing to share their experience of getting an ultrasound for diagnosis of PCOS? I am scheduled to get one soon, and would like to know what to expect. Is it uncomfortable? Was your ultrasound internal or external? How long did it take? Iβve never had a pap or pelvic exam as I am not sexually active yet. Any advice much appreciated!
Edit: Should probably say that I have been experiencing mild hirsutism that keeps getting worse for the last ~9 months or so, TSH and hydroxyprogesterone levels came back normal, testosterone came back normal but on the high side. Periods are very regular, no weight gain, no severe acne. Unsure about insulin resistance or cortisol levels.
But i do not want the books to feel to much like Textbooks. If the books can be both educational while having some artistic flare that would be the ideal(for me) As i donβt intend to study either of these fields i do just want to gain new perspectives and creative impulses from reading things that i have never read before
Also, why all racetams seem to, all of a sudden, be disappearing from the web?
This all happened out of nowhere.
Is there any way to play as the Khan noonien Singh or any other augments. it seems like it would be a interesting playthrough
