A list of puns related to "Online video platform"
How about an online app/ platform to share 15seconds inspiring video talks about technology, design, scientific, cultural, political, and academic topics? I would call it TedTok.
An app called trango came across my eyes while I was checking out betalist. It allows you to share all sorts of files with eachother using hotspot, the same wifi network you are connected to and the internet. It is cross platform (iOS and macOS coming soon) Meaning you can share files if you are connected to the internet and also when you are not. DISCLAIMER: I'm not affiliated with the app whatsoever. Just a surfer of of new things. Used the app. Despite a few minor issues, it functions pretty well. File size is unlimited and so is the number of times you can share. They apparently use a relay server for online transfers and claim that the app values privacy. I also had a read of their privacy policy which seems simple and coherent.
Been searching of something similar, which packs all these three channels of networking together. Another thing is that it claims it is serverless and requires no special installation of FTP or something similar. However, all transfers are realtime, meaning both the sender and receiver need to be active to send and receive but dont need to be online. It would be nice if they bundle in cloud storage into it but since its serverless, one wouldn't expect that? But their post on betalist suggests that in the future we will be able to convert any PC to a private cloud without any network settings or extra installation.
I like the whole idea of sharing any sort of data based on network proximity. Hotspot when devices are near, wifi network when we are connected to the same wifi and online when we are further apart on different networks.
What I was thinking is, why can't something similar be done with all sorts of communication? Like audio, video and even chat? A large number of employees share the same wifi in offices, guests in the hotel, students in a school. This could save alot of bandwidth and data usage. Reduce costs and reduce throttle over the internet.
I read their blog post which claims something of the sort is possible and they are also working on it. An app which will programmatically select the fastest and most private route for a connection. Seems like an interesting project.

Why we made it: The service was officially launched 2 months ago by me and my ex-university roommate out of a simple idea and the desire to help a friend of ours that owns a Yoga studio. She was impacted by the current situation with the lockdowns and the social distancing. We wanted to enable her to continue practicing her business even with the restrictions in place. That's why we made Vipass so that she can create live online training sessions and get paid.
We are looking for: feedback on our idea and execution. Anything in addition related to ideas for improvements, features, potential problems are also very welcome. If you find our service useful feel free to try it out :P
I usually make several rough drafts of a video before the final one gets pushed out. I upload each one to youtube (unlisted), have sample groups watch them and offer feedback, modify and repeat until everyone is happy. Uploading to youtube adds time mainly because it needs to process the video. What methods do others use to accomplish this task?
Hey guys,
I'm a long-time mafia player and was thinking of creating a video platform to continue playing online (with all of the recent parental responsibilities that keep me away from playing in person I figured I might as well start playing online). I've looked around and there aren't any good platforms for playing this game online where video is involved (I know some are trying to use Zoom and other platforms, but they don't offer the functionality that such a game needs, like blanking out the screens of the non-mafia players).
I reached out to the mods of this subreddit and asked for some feedback. They let me post here.
Thanks in advance!
P.S. Those of you voting up, please comment with your feedback...I'd love to know if this is a viable idea.
All titles on Steam, Origin, Blizzard and uPlay got discounted to encourage players to stay at home and stay safe. Companies have prioritised the safety of all members of this wonderful community and are introducing incredible deals to make sure all gamers have a reason to stay at home. Many multiplayer games' devs, such as Overwatch, CS:GO, Apex Legends or Elder Scrolls Online, have released new, already implemented in-game events ahead of the scheduled times. The video game industry as a whole has now realised the how many lives they can save by entertaining gamers for these upcoming weeks and encouraging them to stay inside.
And then I woke up.
Not the most tech-savvy person here. What do you think is the best online video platform that is not laggy or breaks down for video chatting purposes? I will need to do online office hours and discussions for being a TA and was wondering what your opinions are esp the comp sci kids who are more savvy than me, engineering kid. Thx.

Due to the coronavirus our group decided today to keep meeting until "we can't." We also decided to explore setting up an online video meeting until it's safe to be back face to face. Does anyone have experience setting up and formatting (readings, group announcements, etc.) an AA meeting on a platform like Zoom. The cost seems to be $15.00 a month which is affordable. What's the best way to launch this?
Literally anything you talk about can be spied on from strangers and especially governments since multiple reports have been leaked about governments like US spying on citizens.
When you mention words like βmoneyβ βcryptoβ and βtaxesβ your conversations automatically get flagged for bots to check them.
And since the majority of the crypto community still use regular messaging apps like Discord and Whatsapp and didnβt pick up on underrated crypto encrypted messaging platforms like Cryptalk, concern about financial privacy should be considered.
This is why you should watch out for what you speak about even on Whatsapp, Discord and iMessage.
Hi! I am looking for a platform to broadcast some training sessions. The solution must allow screen sharing, live audio and feedback from the students. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Often using YouTube is difficult to find the right video you need to change a sensor, replace a gage cluster or install a new winshield on your car, motorcycle, other type of vehicle. Plus, car mechanics can be much more expensive than doing jobs on your own. For all the handy DIYers out there trying to watch videos on how to get their job done, a website that organizes videos by makes and models would be exceptionally helpful.
