A list of puns related to "Mazes and Monsters"
Will they just disappear after this maze is over? Or could I save them for a future maze? Or is there a monster here I should go for?

I remember some sort of hedge maze at some parts and something to do with cleaning causing lots of bubbles and foam!
I remember it being a sort of Cinderella type story with a few cooler brothers leaving this uncool brother behind to go to a party - I think..
Just recently started playing the game after a large hiatus, looked at the wiki I used back then and it didn't have information of the current maze. Does anyone have the cost of each monster in it? Also are there still discount in the maze or do they not do that anymore?
Trying to figure out if this is the same model. If so then i will have definitely decided which of my typers will be used to finally write my letter to Tom Hanks. This was i believe his second on screen performance after "He Knows You're Alone". Thanks all and i know the platen is extended on the movie model.

In an upcoming session, my players are going to be going through an underground maze. The people who run the maze have captured creatures to put in it, which now live there and act as obstacles for the players. What creatures should I use? Any and all help is appreciated!
I've tossed so many items at them, I've brushed them until they stop reacting to it, and still I can't even get the heart to appear above them to even give an indication that they may get tamed.
Is there something I need to do to tame them?
As mentioned, I don't believe this was an Usborne book because it was so out there in terms of grotesque and gross illustrations with monsters and decrepit buildings but it was a similar semi-puzzle type large book. I would love to own this book as it was a favorite of mine as a 7-10 year old back in 2003-2005 (?)
the story of the thing starts off with a relative asking the brother and sister to either help save or visit him on his island. It is very mysterious for some reason either because of the distress in the letter or because they had never known the guy existed.. I cant remember
The two kids end up getting in a row boat and floating out to a large very industrial looking island or possibly boat. There are tenticles, fog and lots of junk/wrecked boats in the water on this page outside of the island. They check that out and then enter the main building and it is almost like a factory from what I can remember. The next most vivid page is one of a very complex sort of maze-like puzzle with lots of pipes, gears, and monster looking things. I remember that it was the type of book with images you'd look at and not want to touch to turn the page if you can catch my drift. I do not remember many other pages but I believe they were equally interesting and horrifying. Another detail is that the images took up two pages each and it was between 10-30 pages total.
Thank you for any direction, my local library some how lost the book many years ago and they couldn't help me at all with the title.
EDIT: Misspelled Usborne
I'm pretty sure that it took place in a maze (like a hedge maze) at least partially, and you had to catch (and I think train) various funky-looking monsters. There was kind of a halloween-esque feel to it. I was really young at the time, but I know that my dad downloaded most of the games from one of the more-popular sites at the time... I think it was fox themed?
I'm sorry about the lack of details. I'm pretty sure I was only 6-7 years old at the time, and I only had access to the game for a short time before my dad's computer crashed and we couldn't find it again.
Thanks!
Platform(s): PC, windows
Genre: Maze-like, Pac-man-like, shooter (?)
Estimated year of release: Probably had been in existence by 2008
Graphics/art style: 2.5-D / 3D, 3rd-person view, I think a switch to bird-eye was avaiable
Notable characters: The monsters. Oh boy, the monsters...My best attempts to draw them as I remember: https://img.techpowerup.org/191226/greengrossmonsters.jpg
They were more swamp-like green, and they would chase and swarm the character if he got too close to them, taking his health/lives away. They flew using appendages that looked like legs with feet -- and if I recall, to make them more gross and unsettling, the appendages didn't flap like bird wings but moved to meet each other in the middle abovehead. Their mouths were more agape, with the tongue hanging out and flowing as they moved. I think they made noises, too.
The main character was male/oogre?/humanoid, nothing too distinguishing about him as far as my memory goes.
Notable gameplay mechanics: The game world looked like the character was walking on the surface of a tiny globe, though he probably didn't cross vertical hemispheres. The "playing map" was maze-like, contained straw/wooden huts, paths and barrier(s). The goal was to find a way and obtain key(s) for the barrier(s) in each level, lock/unlock them to block the monsters' path and reach a certain hut. You had multiple lives, and there were hearts and fruits along the path that restored lives/health. There might have been the possibility to shoot at the monsters but I'm really not sure.
Other details: I'll add if I recall anything. Feel free to try prompting my memory, to ask about anything that might help figure this out, to offer suggestions that are a stretch and a longshot. It's been haunting me for over a year, maybe even longer, and I'd love to see the game again. Thank you all in advance!
You have to try to escape a maze with a knife as your only weapon, and sometimes a big red monster will appear when you turn a corner and if you don't stab him enough times asap he kills you and you lose...
I'm doing the limited time lazerbeam path and I'm at the fight node, I'm scared to fight but dont want to spend 10 gems. I have a team of 2 epics and one rare so I dont have any legendaries of my own yet
Do you think f2p players can obtain her?
Edit: I tryharded and got her tottaly F2P!! :)
What is the secret maze monster? I'm thinking about getting Qin if the secret monster isnt good enough.
I'm in the process of making my first campaign, aided by our regular DM. He and I are working together because while he is very good at creating a world, I'm better at coming up with puzzles and such. My idea is that the group is captured and dropped individually in a maze with only their weapons. Because of this, they don't have any paper to draw a map of the maze. Since this is the case, they can only see the part of the maze they are in. So if they are standing on a corner, they can see both ways of the maze they can go, but not further. To do this I was planning on simply cutting up the map and only place the relevant parts while removing the other parts as soon as they turn a corner.
The only thing I'm struggling with is how to decide when the adventurers encounter an enemy. For now the options I came up with are:
Whenever they turn a corner and thus see a new part of the dungeon, I can roll for an encounter. But this might get a bit too tedious and makes the maximum number of encounters pretty much unlimited
divide the maze in quadrants and put a set amount of monsters in each quadrant. Encounters would be the same as in case 1, but if they clear a quadrant, they will be free to roam that part without encounters.
put a set amount of monsters and let them move during their own turn. This makes it more realistic and allows the adventurers to run away and try to escape the monsters if they encounter one by themselves before they find the rest of the group. But I'm not sure how I would manage this, since the decision making of the monster should be random but rolling a die for every corner that every monster (I was thinking about 4-8 monsters) takes, might be too tedious as well.
Does anyone have a suggestion? I would love to do the 3rd option, but not really sure how to execute it in an orderly way without losing track of what monster does what, and without needing 25 dice throws each time the monsters get to move.
As the title says. Iβve seen lots of recommendations for Maze Rats (and I love Benβs YouTube channel), so Iβve decided to give it a go with my home brew campaign I have in the works. The only resource I have for monsters is the 5e monster manual though. Thanks for the help!
Time Travellers Limited Path:
"There's a limited-time path in the Time Travelers Maze. It's your chance to get Sunblast. Sunblast is a fast Control monster specialized in Stamina draining and cooldown activation, but that's not all! He can also reduce his enemy's Precision by applying Daze and Sunburn to them or remove enemies' Stamina and Possess them in one move. By obtaining Sunblast, you'll also get a piece of Candy for the Trick or Treat Event."
This obviously excludes P2W monsters, team race monsters, and the sluts like Makugan and Cain and Prince Charmless and Rabooka that just scream "buy me buy me buy me".
Going back to around the Rabbish/Furrious Robin island this time last year... which monster since has been the best?
I would have to vote Belbreath⦠although Stake wasn't bad as an attacker. I also have a soft spot for Viperhotep because of his design.
