Lansing effect - adverse effect of maternal age on offspring life expectancy

I already heard it from our biology teacher at school: older mothers have less healthy children, not only because of chromosome errors, but a lot of other reasons

It makes sense to me since there is background radiation and the egg cell DNA is exposed to it since birth

But now there are so many studies coming out recently that try to explain that this effect is not to be taken as seriously as before anymore, like this one:

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3881604/

This study says that the lansing effect exists but after controlling for maternal time spent with offsprings, it comes to a completely different solution: that it is not significant

To me with so many cooperations in western countries relying on replacement migration and economic strength by female labor, this smells fishy. It is clear to me that there is a huge financial interest in making people believe that they can have children later in life (cooperations like fb even offering female employees several thousand dollars to freeze their eggs), but that doesn't mean that the studies' conclusions must be rigged

So I would like to ask you this question:

Do you think some studies on this might be faked?

Effect of Elevated Ketone Body on Maternal and Infant Outcome of Pregnant Women with Abnormal Glucose Metabolism During Pregnancy. (Pub Date: 2020)

https://doi.org/10.2147/DMSO.S280851

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33268998

Abstract

Ketone bodies are one of the products of fat metabolism which can be used as an alternative energy source for the human body in states of glucose deficiency. Normal pregnant women may develop ketosis due to physiological changes during pregnancy, while pregnant women with abnormal glucose metabolism are more likely to develop ketosis due to abnormal insulin secretion. Animal experiments and clinical studies have shown that exposure to high-ketone environments during pregnancy is closely related to adverse maternal and infant outcomes. However, there is no unified conclusion on whether ketone bodies should be routinely monitored during pregnancy. This review summarizes the existing studies on ketone body levels and pregnancy outcomes in the case of abnormal blood glucose during pregnancy, elaborates the current guidelines on the level of ketone bodies, provides the detection and treatment of ketosis in pregnant women with abnormal blood glucose in the clinical practice.
