A top vs. bottom clash at BMO. The Revolution enter tomorrow's match with the best record in MLS. With 40 points, the Revs have a healthy 6 point lead over Sporting Kansas City in the Supporters' Shield standings. Meanwhile, Toronto FC will enter the game with the worst record in MLS. With only 15 points, the Reds are propping up the rest of the league. However with 4 other teams on 16 points, TFC can lift themselves up with a positive result tomorrow. Link
TFC has had success recently when playing against New England. The Revs last win in the series was in May of 2018, since then TFC have won 4 and drawn 2, including a 3-2 victory in Foxborough last month, which was Javier Perez's first match as TFC manager. Link
Speaking of Javier Perez, this week TFC removed the interim tag from his Manager role. The Spaniard took over control of the squad firing the sacking of Chris Armas last month. In his 7 games in charge of TFC, he's guided the reds to a record of 2 wins, 4 draws and a loss. Link

Notes
On Sunday, Toronto FC sacked manager Chris Armas. Link The short tenure is leaves Armas as the manager with the worst record based on PPG in TFC history. Link
Saturday's loss was TFC's worst league defeat ever. The margin of defeat matches a 6-0 loss to Montreal in the Canadian Championship in 2013. Link
Assistant Coach Javier Perez will lead the team in New England. The Spaniard was the manager of the USA under-18's from 2012-2015, and has been an assistant for the USA senior national team, as well as NYCFC and the Real Madrid youth teams. Link
Both Alejandro Pozuelo and Yeferson Soteldo will be available on Wednesday. Link
While not confirmed yet, Ayo Akinola, Richie Laryea, Jonathan Osorio (Canada), Kemar Lawrence (Jamaica), Eriq Zavaleta (El Salvador) will all likely miss this game and a few going forward because of Gold Cup duty. An Instagram story posted by Alphonso Davies, showed Richie Laryea already in Kansas City for the tournament, which is a sign that at least the Canadian players will be unavailable. Link
Many of you know of YPJ & YPG, so this is a brief history. After the Syrians rose up against Bashar Assad, the people of north eastern Syria, mostly the Kurds, started a revolution against years of oppression. It was at this time ISIS appeared and there was no one to stop them from expanding. So the Kurds started taking arms to defend themselves and created YPG (People's Protection Units, all are men) and YPJ (Women's Protection Units). These forces not only defended Rojava but, with the help of the Western Coalition formed against ISIS, drove the final nail in ISIS' coffin and defeated them. They later participated in the killing of the leader of ISIS Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
Despite working with the Western Coalition, these forces have been attacked multiple times Turkey, and Assad too await the moment the Coalition leave Syria completely so that he can end the Revolution.
To prevent this Rojava (formally Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria) should have an internationally recognized status and now is the time to have that.

> July 18 2012 at 8 p.m. we decided upon the Rojava Revolution. We congratulate all peoples of North and East Syria on this day. The Rojava Revolution protected our people and the world from the darkness of ISIS, but now the time has come to enthronement the revolution.
> Let's launch tomorrow together at 8 p.m. the campaign to further strengthen the struggle to guarantee the future of North and East Syria. Our campaign will be led on social media and will reach every institution worldwide.
