A list of puns related to "Imperial College London"
Has anyone received an interview invitation from Imperial for Computing? I wrote their Online Admissions Test on 11th November but haven't heard back from them yet. Also, approximately when do they conduct their interviews?
What would a contextual offer look like for the normal grade requirements of A* A A A ?
So today, I was placed in the waitlist for my programme at Imperial College London. Any ideas as to how much more time it takes to receive a final decision? It's been too long since my application has been submitted ;_;
Is anyone else doing the Online Admissions Test for Maths and Computer Science today?
If so, is it all mathematics-related questions or are there binary and coding type questions too? Has anyone done this test today?
Good luck to the people doing it today too.

ICL sent a mail to my school teacher asking for my predicted grades 2 weeks back and my teacher messaged me regarding the same. I, stupid me, DIDNT see her message until today. I have asked her to send the req docs but is it too late? will it hurt my application?
ICL says that it reviews apps till 31st march.
Has anyone received an invitation from Imperial for a Computing Interview? In general, when are the invitations sent out and when are interviews scheduled (which month of the year)?
On another note, do the University of Edinburgh, UCL and King's College London conduct interviews for CS applicants?
I do 4 alevels (3 above and physics) but i find physics shit, my school said i couldnt drop it unless i took another a level. Can i still get accepted for chemistry(confident i want to do it) it says physics is preferred but states only that general studies and critical thinking wont be accepted. Has anyone been accepted for chemistry with maths, further and chemistry.
So I just received an email about having to do this online computing test for Imperial which is on Monday. Im applying for computing (no surprise there). Does anybody know what type of questions come on this test?
If you need advise, message me!
I wonβt be revealing the exact questions asked to me.
I got a rejection mail from University College London today. Is there any chance that I'd get into Imperial College London? I applied to both colleges around the same time.
So guys I have my interview this coming Wednesday.
What maths & physics questions do they ask?
Are they hard because Iβm going through some of the questions in βi-want-to-study-engineeringβ and honestly, my mind is sooo lost.
Hi, I just got over with my personal interview for imperial college London for BME and im really scared I kinda fucked it up. so the interviewer asked me 2 biology questions and the first one was about these blue blooded crabs.
now im from the fucking plains, havent seen a crab in my life and I couldn't identify but I was able to answer some of his follow up questions. but im really scared
the second question was about a pedigree and I think I walked him through my thinking process but wasn't able to arrive at the answer easily. im really really scared guys
is there still a chance that I might get in? Pls pls let me know
Depth estimation is one of the fundamental problems in computer vision, and itβs essential for a wide range of applications, such as robotic vision or surgical navigation.
Various deep learning-based approaches have been developed to provide end-to-end solutions for depth and disparity estimation in recent times. One such method is self-supervisedΒ monocular depth estimation. Monocular depth estimation is the process of determining scene depth from a single image. For disparity estimation, the bulk of these models use a U-Net-based design.
Although relative depth is perceived very easily by humans, the same task for a machine has proven quite challenging due to the absence of an optimal architecture. To tackle this issue, more complex architectures are chosen to generate a high-resolution photometric output.
The Hamlyn Centreβs research team from Imperial College London introducesΒ a unique randomly connected encoder-decoder architecture for self-supervised monocular depth estimation. The model architectural design, capable of extracting high order features from a single image and the loss function for imposing a solid feature distribution, is credited for the ideaβs success.
