What's your fav Madonna song of all time and why?
Hello guys, if my memory correct during promotion of Madame X, there was a radio interview which she was basically talking about her old albums and songs. Such as Erotica era, Ray Of Light era etc. They were playing one song from Madonna, after that she was talking about that specific time.
It was busy time for Madonna and also I was so focused on listening to the album, didnt pay attention that much. When i first heard, i was like yes i have to deep in this sometime. But after all these years i couldnt find it on youtube etc. Anyone know something about that? I also know some guys from DrownedMadonna shared them on instagram. I dont know that page still exist or not. I hope somone can help me to find those recordings.
Thank you.
I tried to rank all the songs in each category from favorite to least favorite. This is where I'm at now. I'm very pro 80s and 90s Madonna.

People generally like to stay in their comfort zone.
Thereβs also the fact that people donβt like uncertainty. People will generally wait for others to do the βnew thingβ and then based on the outcome theyβll decide to whether do it or not.
Its the same with crypto. Donβt expect full adoption to happen overnight. However if we keep up this pace weβll get there eventually.
If anything, weβre already starting to see crypto compatible credit and debit cards from Binance, Coinbase and Baanx which technically isnβt full crypto payment but is definitely providing more exposure for crypto plus people will get crypto cash backs on these cards.
Itβs slowly but surely happening. So just give it time.
A local woman who had been missing for 10 years was finally found and rescued from a basement located in another state. Unfortunately, the perpetrator had fled the home before the authorities could even apprehend them.
Geraldine, who was only 20 at the time, had been working as a cashier when she was taken captive from the mall's parking lot. Searches after searches proved futile as they were only met with dead ends.
The calls of alleged sightings of Geraldine gave her parents hope only to be killed by their false confirmations later on.
If the pain of a daughter suddenly vanishing wasn't enough, Geraldine's mother reportedly died of a broken heart just a day before Geraldine's rescue. The interview with the father left me with a deeper understanding about grief as he questioned God while weeping.
I watched him get up from his seat and approach their altar that was wrecked by his single swipe. I saw a man gain his daughter back but lose his faith at the same time and from this tragedy, no one could really blame him.
Medical examination on Geraldine revealed that her tongue had been sliced off, with the healed tissue aging from four or five years ago. Signs of malnutrition clearly visible on her dry thinned hair, as were the loss of muscles and fats as her pale skin hugged her bones.
Lack of vitamins and medicines apparent on her rotting teeth and gaunt face while her brittle fingernails gave away at a single tap. A case like this would make you question the real nature of humans, if whether we were always meant to hunt animals and eachother.
Just when I thought that the horror was left behind that basement, the following incident made our stomachs churn.
A hospital staff came in that afternoon with Geraldine's lunch and at the sight of food, the woman trembled and scrambled to get away from him as her tears liberated themselves with no reserve.
Geraldine only calmed down when the man left the room with the tray of food and when asked why she reacted that way, Geraldine reached for the pen and paper on her foldable bed desk and wrote
"Please don't make me eat my babies anymore."
Between being vegetarian and vegan on and off, Iβve spent eight and a half of my twenty-seven years not eating meat or other animal products. A lot of my stricter vegan friends argue that humans are not βmeant,β to eat meat because our canines are small compared to, say, a tiger. I disagree. Other omnivorous animals have similar teeth sets. I believe ethically and environmentally, eating vegan is the right thing to do. However, arguing that itβs evolutionarily correct is a fallacy. Mating by clubbing your potential partner over the head and dragging them into your cave is βnatural.β So is eating meat. That doesnβt mean itβs the βright,β thing to do. Sure, we definitely werenβt βmeant,β to produce the horrors of animal agriculture or over consume meat until weβre riddled with heart disease or cancer, but I am yet to see a convincing, ideology-free argument to suggest that humans were not βmeant,β to eat meat and likewise appealing to nature is a logical fallacy. Nature is cruel. Weβve evolved far enough to choose NOT to be cruel and thatβs the point. Are there any vegans willing to acknowledge that the common vegan trope of βyour canines donβt look like a wolfβs,β does not help the argument?
For example. Humans get registered as a sentient species no problem ( we hid our war history ) but once a payload ship gets stranded on a planet. The aliens bunker the ship and hide but they see the human went missing. They find him in a cave with spears and already tribal camp. Then the human takes lead and the aliens realise. THEY ARE STRANDED WITH AN INTELEGENT TRIBAL WARRIOR SPECIES
Hey everyone. I wrote this yesterday and posted it on my Instagram but I thought I had to tell this amazing sub as well:
Geez itβs 1 am and I cannot stop thinking about what that one dude said at the seminar today. When we discussed the movie βPromising Young Womanβ, out of fucking nowhere he said: βWhy wasnβt there a father to teach her how to defend herself?β (For people not familiar with the movie, itβs about a woman whose best friend was raped and was basically failed by several institutions.) So that dimwit not only had the audacity to victim blame but he also seemed to not get the point of the movie at all. I truly donβt understand what was going through his head. He said that in front of so many women and a professor who specializes in feminist theory lmao. I repeat: Feminist theory. Just like many of my fellow students, I thought that I just misheard him. But he went on to explain his point. All of us didnβt know how to react or what to say but thankfully I was able to regain my composure and click on the unmute button. So I am basically repeating the things I said to him, hoping to find some resonance:
Why should women learn how to defend themselves? Why canβt we just teach men not to attack or harass women? Itβs not our fucking responsibility.
Instead of shutting up, he just went on and, in a way, said that itβs part of human nature. DUDE VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN IS NOT PART OF HUMAN NATURE!!
This is the third track from Cage the Elephantβs fifth album, Social Cues. How do you feel about this song? What are some of your favorite lyrics? How would you rank it among the rest of the bandβs discography? How would you rate it out of 10 (decimals allowed)?
SUGGESTED SCALE:
1-4: Not good. Regularly skip.
5: Itβs okay, but I might have to be in the right mood to listen to it.
6: Slightly better than average. I wonβt skip it, but I wouldnβt choose to put it on.
7: This is a good song. I enjoy it quite a bit.
8-9: Really enjoyable songs. I rank them pretty high overall.
10: Masterpiece, magnum opus, or similar terminology.

Anyone know of a anime that's about misanthropy, pessimism, and antinatalism; similar to attack on titan, death note, berserk, and devilman crybaby (To kill time while more attack on titan episodes come out), thanks.
Yes, yes, this is another post about how I would like to talk about precepts instead of ewk-ewk-ewk... but don't swing at the windup:
Human nature, buddha nature, self nature, the soul, whatever you feel like calling it today... is a matter of some debate (when you can get a debate instead of ad homi-ewk)
Zen Masters tell people that if you directly experience this human self buddha nature you will FREEDOM! cast off all the ideological frameworks about how to behave and what to think... and become an vegetarian farmer that tries to get people to be responsible for themselves!
Lots of other people... including most religious people... all Dogenists, most Christians, many non-religious-philosophy types, a fair share of perennialists, I'd guess most Topicalists, think that if IF such freedom was obtained, then people would likely be murder rapists who lie about it and rob from the rich to give to murder rapists.
Seriously. People have said this to me in this forum. Recently.
But most people who really think it in this forum don't say it. This idea that "free" means that you will be free to follow all your darker precept violating impulses. In fact, they think we have precepts because of those impulses. They see precepts as chains to keep you from celebrating those darker impulses that you may have, because everybody has them! You may not have them all, but at your most basic, most human buddha self nature, you are defined by those impulses.
OR
So I think that's the underlying tension, and I think that's why generally precepts are a sensitive subj
