A list of puns related to "Sadomasochism"
Ten Lies About Sadomasochism by Melissa Farley
Great article by Melissa Farley when women have the right to "kink-shame". Today sadism of men labeled as "BDSM" (Most men are doms and virtually all women are subs in BDSM communities) promoted by other women including who describe themselves feminists. (Bring my anti-BDSM feminism back!) In the end men are entitled to torture women without getting shamed. They can beat the shit out of women and be considered as "nice guys" too in this brave postmodern "freedom is slavery" world.
1. Pain is pleasure; humiliation is enjoyable; bondage is liberation.
2. Sadomasochism is love and trust, not domination and annihilation.
3. Sadomasochism is not racist and anti Semitic even though we βactβ like slave owners and enslaved Africans, Nazis and persecuted Jews.
4. Sadomasochism is consensual; no one gets hurt if they donβt want to get hurt. No one has died from sadomasochistic βscenes.β
5. Sadomasochism is only about sex. It doesnβt extend into the rest of the relationship.
6. Sadomasochistic pornography has no relationship to the sadomasochistic society we live in. βIf it feels good, go with it.β βWe create our own sexuality.β
7. Lesbians βinto sadomasochismβ are feminists, devoted to women, and a women-only lesbian community. Lesbian pornography is βby women, for women.β
8. Since lesbians are superior to men, we can βplayβ with sadomasochism in a liberating way that heterosexuals can not.
9. Reenacting abuse heals abuse. Sadomasochism heals emotional wounds from childhood sexual assault.
10. Sadomasochism is political dissent. It is progressive and even βtransgressiveβ in that it breaks the rules of the dominant sexual ideology.
Greetings. I am a nineteen year old agender person. I have a girlfriend of the same age, who I've been having sex with for awhile, but who doesn't know anything about my weird kinks.
We've had diffrent upbringings somewhat, she's very traditionally feminine, and grew up in a conservative area of Brooklyn. I'm compleatly genderless, and grew up in a liberal area of Manhattan.
I've always really been afraid of how she'll deal with me being genderless. She's completely heterosexual, and I've always felt a bit inattiquite do to being afab. I'm always really worried something I'll do will be creepy or uncomfortable to her. I've never even been naked infront of her, even when having sex.
Despite that. I still do want to try out my kinks with her. She's been my gf for a long time and I feel like it's something we're going to do eventually. I can't help but fantazise about her doing this stuff to me anyway, so it's better to have it come out in a more healthy controlled way.
I'm obbsessed with the idea of someone dominating me and harming me. Bloodplay is one of my biggest kinks, and I tend to juts like the idea of having violent things done to me. I have no fucking idea how I can explain this to my gf, I'm so worried that she's going to just run away screaming.
Like. How do you ask someone to violently hold you down? How will this not go terribly? Obviously I wouldn't force her to do anything she didn't want to, but I still want to try this tsuff with her.
Do I just sound like some sort of weirdo? I really need some advice on this. How can I explain any of these feelings to her?
This may be an odd request but I was wondering if anyone has any book recommendations whereby there is a female protagonist who is a masochist, enjoys pain or exhibits sadomasochistic traits and/or desires? Ideally, this would be in a fiction or true crime genre albeit anything that is story-based rather than factual (i.e. non-fiction).
Truly a brilliant mind, the world is cold, but geniuses who develop such unulique concepts can make it warm sometimes.
Such is life, a joke to nature.

After finishing The girl with the dragon tattoo I am curious and wondering if anyone can recommend a non fiction book on sadomasochism and crimes. I can't seem to find anything. Thankyou.

Edit: First part got deleted. Whoops
Basically, I had some new BDSM experiences this weekend and my reaction was intense and nothing I'd ever experienced before and im trying to understand it. My partner was amazing, attentive and handled it super well.
Both times I had extremely intense reactions that completely threw me off guard. I had reached what I believe to be subspace once before - I just got really floaty and lost sense of time or sequence of events. This was completely different.
I tend to shiver when i get really excited, but the first time I wound up shaking and shivering. My arms and hands went numb and tingly and my partner said my hands were like ice, like bloodflow had been disrupted in a shock reaction. I was a bit overwhelmed and cried a little bit.
The second time felt like I pushed further. I went totally numb in most of my body and I got really manic. Partner said I looked feral. I definitely went into a sub frenzy. Partner was trying to end the scene and I was asking for escalations. I was really manic and bratty and he had to talk me down. I felt high as a kite, manic (although i couldn't recognise how crazy i was being till i calmed down ) numb, shivering and shaking, cold hands and numb arms, I began laughing hysterically which led to laughing adn crying at the same time. I couldn't control any of it and it took a long time to come back down. Partner said it felt similar to a shock reaction.
Anyway, I have never experienced anything like this before and it was really really intense. It wasn't subdrop, I felt just fine afterwards. I had ADHD is this an exxagerated effect on my dopamine deprived brain? Thanks in advance, none of the articles I found online really discussed more than the serene floaty feeling, but I didnt get that.
EDIT: Thank you so much for the replies, especially to people who were willing to come out and say they were concerned. I got the same reaction pretty much everywhere I looked. Talked to some medical people and they said it sounds like an acute shock reaction, so I'm working out why it happened and how I can prevent it happening again.
I'm a sadomasochist, but I was wondering if there was a way to solve/get rid of positive feelings in relationship to pain. Also wondering if there's way to not get turned on as easily by these things, especially when it's a situation where it would be inappropriate to do so. (For reasons I'm not willing to specify, I am still hormonal and very easily turned on.)
