When do male holland lops become sexually mature? Wondering when I need to separate my chonk from his sisters.
Tomorrow I’m picking her up and the breeders are providing some pellets and hay. I just bought a litter box (paper litter), a hidey house, a brush, a hay holder thing, and a cage (I plan to work our way up to free roaming though). I still need to get nail trimmers but i think I’ve got the basics down. Anything else/any tips for a newbie bunny owner? :) I’ve done a solid amount of research but any input is appreciated!

Baby bun is female, and white with black speckles. She has a black patch around her mouth that looks like a moustache.
Hello! I got an 8 week old Holland lop 3 days ago and I need advice with litter training. Whenever I watch YouTube & Google, they make it seem like litter training is soooo easy and fast! I know it’s only been 3 days but I feel like my bunny isn’t understanding the litter concept AT ALL... and I’m doing the 3 main things YouTube videos show
- Immediately placing their poo & pee in litter box
- If u catch them poo’ing in action, scoop them and place them in litter box
- Disinfecting and eliminating the places (aside from litter box) that they pee
- It mentions bunnies typically poo in the same corner so move litter box there... however, my bunny poos EVERYWHERE!! (Not just a particular corner)
Is this normal? Any tips? Relatable experiences, etc... I guess I’m just paranoid he’ll never be potty trained haha since research I’ve done seems as if they catch on fast and my bunny isn’t. And I feel like I can’t take him anywhere or leave him unattended, etc until he’s potty trained...
P.S. I temporarily have him in a small rectangular play pen set up (approx 2ft x 4.5) and plan to increase size as he gets trained because that’s also something I read to do..
