A list of puns related to "Hasbro Interactive"
Hi all, my name is Bob Huang and I am boycotting all Hasbro products and Wizards of the Coast Organized Play, primarily due to their banning of my friend Zach Jesse. I love the game, but I love the people that I have met playing the game more. The following is all my own opinion and speculation, and should not be taken any further than that. Hasbro made this move in order to maintain their PR image. They donβt want the Washington Post to pick up Zach winning a PT, and then sensationalizing that with an article like βFormer Rapist wins Prestigious Magic the Gathering Tournamentβ. This would be absolutely terrible for their image, and they are taking steps to ensure it never gets to this point. They have known about his past for a while now, and his recent Top 8 appearances along with social media uproar have pushed them to act. The fact that they have not come out with a statement regarding people with felonies or sex offenders really irks me, and it is part of the reason so many people are upset. There are many reasons why I disagree with this banning.
Hasbro should let the US legal system decide punishments.
Zach is one of the nicest people that I have ever met. He warmly welcomed me into the local Richmond community, and I sincerely appreciate him for that. Ask anybody in the Richmond community, and they will stand up for Zachβs character and how he treats people.
Zach has reformed himself, and he honestly should be a role model for other people who have committed crimes in the past.
In addition, I would also like to state that the people crucifying Drew Levin should stop. I personally do not like Drew Levin, but I do not support treating him in the same way Zach was treated. Although I disagree with his actions, he was not trying to harm the community in any way.
Iβm not asking you to take the same actions as me, but I would suggest making your opinion known. Write your own statement, post it below if you wish and go email press@wizards.com . Here is a petition asking the DCI to unban him from change.org: https://www.change.org/p/wizards-of-the-coast-allow-zachary-jesse-to-continue-playing-magic-the-gathering-in-dci-sanctioned-events?recruiter=334893439&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=autopublish&utm_term=mob-xs-share_petition-no_msg&fb_ref=Default
With more and more Metaverse and NFT hype rolling out by the day, I wanted to share this with more people. It hasn't had many eyes yet.
I've said it for a while.
GameStop are making their own metagame universe and all their partners are invited.
My guess of what's happening is a metagame universe as a social platform where you can shop for anything like in Ready Player 1. You buy it there and the physical version arrives at your house, tied to NFT so you can wear it in the metaverse too.
That place to hang out becomes the login portal for games or watching VR things with friends or desktop games etc.. or a blockchain based stock market made by Loopring.
More:
> Instead of logging on Facebook to see what your friends are up to. Or Steam to invite a friend to play a game.
> You open a "game" on your computer that's a universe where you and your friends walk around to socialize and catch up. If you find a game you like you all hop in that portal inside the universe and it logs you in. Your ID is tied to the character you logged in as kind of thing.
> Now you tie NFT cosmetics to it and you can wear or drive cool shit around the universe (or games that support it) and even gamble the NFTs if that's your thing (CSGO knives anyone.) Or even blockchain based real estate in the universe.
> It's the entire economy inside the Digital world, that is tied to physical items through blockchain and NFTs
These guys just said they are actually doing at least something with that, mentioned metaverse specifically. and since that image now accept LRC to buy stuff at GameStop.

The Upcoming ALDI Finds Ad for 01/26/22 - 02/01/22 is now available. The ad actually starts three days earlier in some stores but items can show up earlier or later than that. A list of items in each category is included below.
Bold denotes items that are new since the corresponding Aldi Finds Sneak Peek ad was published.
Listen up helmet heads. I realize many of us are adults who still play with toys, but this isnβt about that.
So Mattel sells Barbies and Hotwheels and other boring shit to little kids and so for obvious reasons, hasnβt been getting a whole lot of attention lately aside from a handful of analyst upgrades that donβt really make a lot of sense.
Why would any analyst be bullish on a company that sells toys? Kids seem to be more attracted to interactive games, video games, there are manufacturing and supply chain issues, Barbie is stupid and not woke. I could go on.
Itβs simple. Theyβre transitioning into a massive movie studio like Hasbro and Disney. I know what youβre thinking, βI donβt watch movies. I only watch pornography and memes.β Iβm with you on that.
So Hasbro has managed to build a market cap twice the size of Mattel by making the shittiest ass GI Joe movies on the planet. Who the fuck is Henry Golding? By that metric Mattel could easily clear 40 dollars a share if they can match the mediocre successes of Hasbro films.
So Mattel has several movies down the pipe. Thereβs one with vin diesel or something and lil yachty, but the major one is Greta Gerwig directing Margot Robbie (who is hott) and Ryan Gosling. Most importantly theyβre going to rebrand Barbie as like a woke zoomer Barbie who posts woke shit on Instagram or whatever idk.
So Mattel is about 25% over itβs pre-pandemic highs, so you might be thinking that this is all priced in.
Hereβs why itβs not. Iβm not sure investors realize how much ownership and influence Mattel films has over these projects and thatβs because Mattel Films makes animated bullshit atm and licenses material. So three of the top billed producers are Mattel Films executives all recent hires by Mattel aside from one of them, Ynon Kreiz, the ceo of Mattel inc. He was hired in 2018 for his background in media and entertainment.
Theyβre preparing for a major shift towards becoming a massive media conglomerate.
Thereβs literally no way this could go tits up.
Disclaimer I'm not an employee or affiliated with WOTC or Hasbro in any way. I'm also not an employee or affiliated with any WPN store locations. This information is purely from my head canon and own thinking, but you should pay attention to my wall of text because I'm HERE TO TELL YOU MY FEELINGS ON THE SUBJECT OF THIS POST THAT I HAVE TITLE BAITED YOU TO READ>
I've noticed a lot of people myself included getting downvoted and attacked for stating simple facts about MY OPINION, Commander OR EDH and it's relationship with MY OPINIONS. One of these key debate points is TOUCHING cards notice that it took me this long to only now get to my point? First off I would like to say that I am "pro touching" and I've touched and manipulated hundreds of decks/players with myself and friends. I enjoy touching them when ever possible, sometime not just opponents cards. However some people have a problem either not understanding or blaming the wrong people when they point out some facts about touching cards/players. Let's go over a few things.
I am just holding out hope that they use this 'edition', .5, whatever it is to address issues. Basically it not only SHOULD have a longer testing phase with a wider range but also should definitely look to correct the problems encountered previously.
For those not in the know, Ranger was the last class to be added to the DNDNEXT playtest packet. It was publicly tested for a grand total of two weeks before being pulled and only tested inhouse for a period of about...I believe it was like two months before 5e went to the presses. Which is how we ended up with the fecking AWFUL beast Master Ranger that didn't get 'fixed' until they patched it with the Tasha's rules variants.
Secondly, people can handle a little complication. Splitting Fighter into Champion and Battlemaster was a STUPID idea. Newbies don't need a 'all I do is roll dice' class, lets give them a LITTLE bit more credit than that. Not only that but every new player I've seen start as Champion usually asks if they can switch to Battle Master (or one of the other subclasses) within about 3-4 sessions because IT. IS. BORING. TO. PLAY. (anecdotal evidence I know but I've seen this happen in FOUR different game groups).
Lastly TEST HIGH LEVEL PLAY. The original 5e playtest only went up to level 10, most of the things above that never had focused testing, which is how we end up with things getting stupidly busted once you reach level 15+. I pray they don't just sweep high level play under the rug and shrug like they did for 5e.
"Well nobody plays it, so we're not going to support it..." Well maybe if it wasn't such a fucking MESS to try to balance for, more people would be interested. CR being built on the idea of 'no feats, no magic items' was, I'm sorry designers, a very daft choice. Which is odd because 4e was built and balanced around people getting magic items and even had a system where you could melt down magic items you didn't want, get a 'currency' and then spend THAT on items you DID want, without having to pray to the DM that you got the thing you wanted.
What does this mean? Longer testing phase, no rush to print, specifically targetted testing (aka do some tests at high level, some at low level and so on). I get 5e was basically make or break for WotC and they had big daddy hasbro breathing down their necks telling them that if 5e failed, they would shelve the brand and get WotC to focus purely on MTG stuff but that isn't the case anymore. Take your time, work things out, for the l

Interested to hear your thoughts on whether a Metric System version of 5.5 Edition is a worthy consideration. There is a petition you can sign if you agree they should make this: https://chng.it/pZRCcLqc6c
Read and comment below, interested to hear your discussion on how you've homebrewed this and if you find it useful to your players and worlds?
For consideration:
On 27 September 2021, The D&D Team revealed that they are working on a 5.5 Edition of Dungeons and Dragons in 2024 for the 50th anniversary of the game.
In previous Editions, including the most recent 5th Edition, the game has exclusively used the Imperial system, without any support for conversion or calculation to the Metric system.
While we recognise the game is designed by a US based company, Wizards of the Coast & Hasbro have already created foreign language versions of 5th Edition which converted all numerical systems to Metric.
A Metric system version of 5.5 would assist players in many ways including:
Only three countries in the world (officially) still use the Imperial System and it continues to be a sore spot for the education and enjoyment of anyone outside of the US.
94.7% of the world uses the metric system by population, with only USA, Myanmar and Liberia using Imperial.
We strongly encourage Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro to consider their international audiences and release two versions, one using Metric and one using Imperial.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

However, it was identified that much of what was said in the judge statement was been proven to be untrue from findings from within the Magic community itself. Journalist, Lou Colagiovanni reported that Ross Prajzner, a level 3 judge at the time, continued to judge at Magic events while being prosecuted and after being convicted for distributing child pornography on November 24, 2014, was juggling court and jail time with tournaments and other Magic events.
Within 3 days, on January 12, 2018; Wizards of The Coast, creators of Magic: The Gathering with Hasbro being their parent company, counter-claims to have a zero-tolerance policy for sex offenders with their Vice President of Global Brand Strategy & Marketing publicly stating,
>"Safety at Magic events is our top priority. We have a zero-tolerance policy for sex offenders. Our standard and long-standing practice is to suspend offenders from the DCI and/or remove stores from the WPN."
