Not because of the music or anything, but because on time I was at a buffet, filled with a plethora of joy seeping up my veins, I scooped a plate of spaghetti, all while "Flashing Lights" played in the background, happy, that Kanye was playing the background.
But as soon as I walked off, I tripped on my laces, in a glance of horror I cried, spaghetti staining the beautiful tiled floor, the music in my ears was drowned out by the slam of my fat fucking balls crashing onto the floors.
"If somebody woulda told me a year ago, It'll go get this difficult" YEAH KANYE, you bet your fucking ass, Kangay, I wish someone would've.
I was crying, creaming, shitting, farting, I couldn't handle all these emotions pouring out of me, the manager ran quickly to my guidance, but when he saw the fact I was wearing my fake white Yeezy's he yelled "THIS NIGGA WEARING FAKE YEEZY'S AND GOT SAUCE ON EM LMFAO 💀💀💀💀💀💀" I yelped in absolute humiliation, Kanye still playing in the ground.
I went home that day and violently fucked my Kanye Graduation Bear as revenge.
Fuck Graduation.

I know some people may prefer other albums for personal reasons. I know some people will think "oh, Graduation is too mainstream", or some will think Graduation did not inspire the genre the way 808s or Yeezus did for example.
But I guarantee that "Graduation" will be remembered most, generally(/maisntream) even 50 years from now.
Why?
Cause this time perfectly captures the era it was released.
His first two were a love letter to the soul/blues/jazz era of music.
808s and Yeezus was Kanye reinventing the genre.
The other albums after Yeezus were representing Kanye and his mental state at the moment of the making the albums.
But Graduation? It represents the era and the zeitgeist of the era at the moment of making the album.
Listening to this album in 2021 (soon to be 2022) transfers you in mid 2000s. It brings you the memories of where you were when the album drops. It makes you remember other songs and albums from that era. It reminds you of artist that were relevant in 2000s but aren't anymore. It reminds you of shows, movies, sports, and generall cultural things of the first decade of this millenium.
It's like Nirvana's "Nevermind". It's the most mainstream album cause it captures the general vibe of the world. It's the sound of the era. If you haven't lived in that era you can listen to the album and get the vibe of what society was back the.
When it's all said and done, and we are all dead, the next generation of kids will still have their 2100s music...but some folks would like to listen to "old school, classic, last century music". And they'd listen to albums like "Graduation" which tell you what that period was all about, the same way millenials or zoomers listen to metal/rock bands from the 70s/80s to get a taste for that era, for example.
I have no closing thoughts. Go listen to "Graduation". Head empty. No thoughts. Just vibes.

Despite the valid criticisms of Grad the music still slapped. I know music from the first 15 or so eps was put out but I distinctly remember a bunch of tracks we never got separate from the show. One battle track in particular that ended an episode before a fight with Grey comes to mind. Anyone know if they were ever released?
Bonus points if anyone's got info on an Ethersea soundtrack I've literally rewound episodes to rock out to those jams.
