A list of puns related to "Frank Ocean discography"
I recently discovered frank ocean after a friend recommended him to me, I absolutely love both channel ORANGE and blonde, is there anything thatβs harder to find worth listening to?
Hello people of the r/frankocean community!
I decided to do some research over winter break and made a list of Frank Ocean's whole discography for those of you who are new to Frank Ocean and don't know where to start. Also for long-time fans who missed some parts of his music! This list is every album/project/mixtape that he has been on including unreleased music. The list also contains songs/projects he has been featured on. Not sure if anyone else has done this before on this sub, sorry if this is a dupe. Please tell me if I missed anything!
Thanks for reading and enjoy the post!

I'm a new fan of Frank's work and I'm looking to get some vinyl copies for Frank, but they're so expensive and honestly I can't afford to pay that much money since I'm not big of a collector.
Anybody knows a website that sells them, or a trusted seller that most people here know about? Thanks in advance!
Hey yall, started listening to Frank recently and I'm in love with the music. I finished listening to 90 percent of the songs that's there in Spotify, have some features left. But just discovered that there are some albums and mixtapes which aren't released in Spotify for some reason. Can I know why those have not been released and do you know where I can listen to those? A link to those extras will really help ππ
Thanks again β€οΈβ€οΈ
I have been a fan of Frank ocean for a while now and I have listened to his 4 projects, (Blonde, Channel Orange, Endless, and nostalgia Ultra)
I have listened to both several times over now and the order in which I enjoy them is very clear to me.
My ranking goes (Completely subjective)
Now before you attack me hear me out. There is not a single album up there that I donβt think is amazing but for some reason I donβt seem to enjoy Channel Orange nearly as much as his other fans do.
To attempt to get more out of the album and enjoy it more I looked to see what his fans favourite song from this album was and I saw a lot of people saying Pyramids without any objections.
So of course I went back and played it again. And for some reason I just donβt feel it the same way I feel his other songs. Pyramids just doesnβt seem nearly as good as half the songs on blond and some songs on his other projects.
If anyone has any similar feelings or a way I can get into this album the same way I can the others that Iβd love to hear it.
EDIT: I would Also be very interested to hear other rankings of those 4 Projects.
"hey! sorry to bother, but I saw ur post on the frank sub and I was wondering if u could help me with a few questions I have about Frank, I figured perhaps you'd know since u posted in the sub. Unfortunately I cannot post in the sub as my account is too new, that's why I'm reaching out. I'll share here what was meant to be my question for the sub, but feel free to not respond at all if u donβt want to. Thank you!
What is the main difference between undocumented, RARE & Unreleased MISC if tracks are repeated? (and other questions I have for hardcore Frank fans)
Thank you! Hey! So I've been into Frank's music for about 3 years now. I've listened to Nostalgia Ultra and Endless and have them saved on Spotify. I am now looking to save more of his music that isn't readily available.
I have access to this folder which I assume many people also do whichhas a lot of Frank's music that is not on Spotify https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1KwLhEFY5cSt7n30JekrBVzS8ovG7iEn3
But I seem to find a lot of repeated songs that appear in both the undocumented, RARE folder & the Unreleased MISC folder, so I then went looking in https://blonded.blog/music , and it does not credit Unreleased MISC at all. There is no mention of it. This only raised more questions for me, as there are many album covers available for Unreleased MISC online so I was wondering if it's even real or if it only contains tracks from undocumented, RARE. Nonetheless, I then compared the folders of both projects within the Drive link with each other, as well as the songs cited in Blonded Blog as part of undocumented, RARE , and I found a song that is part of the Unreleased MISC drive folder that is NOT repeated in the undocumented, RARE folder nor is even cited in Blonded Blog. It would be "Girlfriend's Best Friend". So I'm even more confused. Moreover because, though I really like the song, I'm confused as to where it belongs or if I'm even listening to Frank sing. Perhaps because I've never heard any of his other work apart from Spotify albums, Endless and Nostalgia, Ultra. Anyways, if anyone could clear this up, it would be of massive help. Thank you!!!" - u/damijaresss

Frank Ocean loves cars.
In his 2016 magazine Boys Donβt Cry, he wrote a letter, in which he says
βHow much of my life have I spent in a car? I wonder if I might die in one.β
A quick glance through his discography reveals references to cars peppered across albums, singles, videos and even album covers.
From the E30 M3 on the cover of his 2011 mixtape - Nostalgia, Ultra - to the Ueno Clinic McLaren F1 GTR in the videos for Nikes, Iβve always been intrigued by this particular aspect of his work, so Iβm going to try and make some sense of it.
NOSTALGIA ULTRA
Starting with his early work, the cover of his 2011 mixtape Nostalgia Ultra features an Orange BMW E30 M3. Contrary to popular belief, this wasnβt actually Frankβs car at the time. In fact, the photo was uploaded to a random BMW forum. But it did mark the beginning of Frankβs public obsession with the E30, which would feature many times across the rest of his career.
On the reference laden mixtape, the two tracks where he talks about cars are Swim Good and American Wedding. He sings on Swim Good,
>That's a pretty big trunk on my Lincoln town car, ain't it?
>
>Big enough to take these broken hearts and put 'em in it
>
>Now I'm drivin' 'round on the boulevard, trunk bleedin'
>
>Five more miles 'til the road runs out
>
>I'm about to drive in the ocean
>
>I'ma try to swim from somethin' bigger than me
>
>Kick off my shoes and swim good, and swim good
>
>Take off this suit and swim good, and swim good, good

The car in the video is a 1985 Lincoln Town Car Stretched Limousine. In fact, Lincoln Town cars are often used as hearses for carrying bodies. Here, the broken hearts are a metaphor for the emotional baggage he carries with him, or in the trunk of his car. The lyrics isnβt a metaphor for transformation, Frank literally plans to drive in the ocean so he will drown and commit suicide, in order to rid himself of said emotional baggage.

Iβm talking about the older unreleased stuff that isnβt out on streaming apps, if not we should definitely make one!
Nostalgia Ultra- A forgotten tape outside of the cult. "Wait Swim good and Novacane are off his first tape??" Lonny Breaux Collection-Another forgotten tape outside of the cult Unreleased misc-Just amazing frank too good Channel orange- A CLASSIC. I will tolerate no slander of channel orange. There is not a single bad track on there. ENDLESS-Classic again. Frank 2/2 Blonde- another classic. I MEAN 3/3!!! Blonde. Shit slaps. Contains two of the most important songs in music history, Facebook story and Be yourself. At this point, frank is πyou know what frank just did? He just did THAT
Tracklist
Story
Frank dreams of a happier time before he became an adult, back when he was innocently crushing on a girl. He wakes up, and starts playing his video games. He spends a lot of his life unhappy and rich, hanging around with his equally unhappy friends. He contemplates suicide until someone stops him. One night, he heads to a Coachella concert and hooks up with a stoner girl in med school. They hit it off, and develop a somewhat rocky relationship. He tries to remain optimistic throughout his relationship, although he manages to keep a sense of skepticism about how interested his girl is to the relationship. Frank has a conversation with his girl about her drug use, but he gives up, and eventually considers marriage as a way to spark their relationship. He proposes, and she says yes, but only so she wouldn't disappoint him. They remain happy since his proposal, and stay so until after the wedding. Their relationship declines rapidly, and she eventually divorces him. They have one last talk, and she walks out of his life. He eventually kills himself.
Bedtime Story details his last thoughts as he drives himself into the ocean.
Forrest Gump details how the girl feels at his funeral, remaining nostalgic about the fun times they had.
EDIT: Added original sources for each song, for people new to Frank.
Iβm new to frank ocean and have just finished listening through both of the previously stated albums after falling in love with Blonde and channel ORANGE. I absolutely loved both endless and Nostalgia ultra and I wish they were on Spotify. Is there any particular reason he has never officially released them?
Like from the beginning to today. Love his music and would love to listen to his albums and not "greatest hits" on YouTube. Is there even a .ZIP of his work that I can download?

Iβve been listening to frank ocean a lot as of late and absolutely love all of his stuff and was looking to branch out, and suggestions on other artist similar to him?
every trepadaaation ... every ..??? reparation??
Source:https://twitter.com/applemusic/status/1474772037075968003?s=21 So uh Frank dropping maybe? Hoping for new single at least
At the start of the song "Swim Good" he talks about driving a Lincoln Town Car, this will be important for us later on.
At around 57 seconds into the song he says "Five more miles till the road runs out"
And 72 seconds after that he says "One more mile till the road runs out"
Now here's what's weird about this: the top speed of a Lincoln Town Car is only 133 mph; even at full speed he could only travel about 2.65 miles in 72 seconds, obviously nothing even close to 4 miles (5 miles minus 1 one mile equals to 4 miles).
I am honestly disgusted and I lost a lot of respect for him. How can an artist that regularly sings about his experiences and emotions do such an ingenuine thing, how can I ever trust his words again?
Hey guys ! So far I've only heard nostalgia, ULTRA, Channel Orange, Endless, and Blond. Are there other unreleased music from Frank Ocean I haven't heard? If so what are they, and pleasee tell me where I can find them :> THANKS!!!
Which project should I listen to first?
Blonde/Endless/Loosies
vs.
Channel Orange/Nostalgia Ultra/unreleased, misc.
Does anyone feel confident that they have all of Frank's unreleased music? Like Blue Whale, Memrise, etc. If so would it be possible to google drive that?? <3
I would like to know your opinion on this, I personally think so
