A list of puns related to "Fallout shelter"
I see them all over and I know they're from the cold war but just how bad are they? Are they totally unmaintained?
I just lost my whole damn vault to a molerat infestation. They killed all 46 dwellers. Like what the fuck? Usually a few of whatever attacks show up and maybe I lose a dweller or two, but have caps to revive them. This time more and more just kept showing up until I was out of stimpacks. Then they just ran through my dwellers until I had none left. I just use the game as a time waster, so itβs not like Iβm very invested. I deleted it because what the fuck?
Is it some method they use to try to get you to pay for caps or something? Glitch? Anyone else had this issue?
Edit: On a brighter note, this sparked me to jump back into 3, which I havenβt touched in years. Iβm having a lot of fun picking up where I left of. Fucking Moira trying to get me to kill myself is much less frustrating.
Looking for a much better version of something like this. Any ideas's please? Would really appreciate it.
And why the vault dwellers have the same art style as Vault Boy (apart from the game being technologically limited by being on mobile, of course)
The 2D layout of the vaults is even very similar to that of the Vault-Tec advertisement in Fallout 3's E3 2008 trailer (go to 1:15)
Has anyone tried converting part of their basement into an effective short-term fallout shelter? Supposedly, radiation would be highest for the first day after an attack.
Other than a Geiger counter, what would be good to stock? Also, how would you seal it and/or filter the air?
I'm doubtful after searching the nexus but perhaps I'm not using the correct search terms?

Mine would be a new questline and some new items from Fallout 76. It would be awesome to be able to equip dwellers with things like ultracite power armor, wood armor, enclave scout armor, marine armor, fireman uniforms, civil war suits, skiing outfits, excavator power armor, miner uniforms, fire axes, pitchforks, black powder guns, 50 caliber machine guns, gatling guns, and crossbows. New themes would be great to have too, like Enclave, Secret Service, Reclaimation Day, Responders, Fire Breathers, Free States, Raider Cutthroats and Mothman Cultists. A questline involving an expedition to Appalachia and seeing the remnants of the factions and locations would be cool too. Exploring morgantown airport, top of the world ski lodge, harpers ferry, a free states bunker, belching betty mine, the whitesprings bunker, fort defiance, foundation, and maybe even the glassed caverns, maybe even finding the occasional survivor. Bug fixes would be appreciated too.
I have a bunch of dwellers that are max level in their skills and working in the best jobs for them but some are still only 85-90% happy. I don't have resource scarcity issues and they're working their best jobs. Also, I keep noticing that the children are only ever ~50% happy which is weird. Any advice? Thanks!
Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I find it a bit annoying to discern trained/untrained valut boys when they are "working" on the board. It's easy when they stand next to the player sheet as they can stand next to their respective skill letter. But on the board it's not that easy.
Or rather, I should say, I have difficulties with untrained ones. As Fallout fan, all the character skills are rather easy to recognize by looking at their poses. All vault boys available in the game, represent one of SPECIAL attribute. The problem is - there's no vault boy without a skill.
I don't want to say it's a deal breaker but IMHO the publisher could do a better job by adding couple of generic valut boys to reduce the memory burden.
How do people deal with untrained workers?

Hey everyone. I'm a mobile dev and want to try my hand at making a game. I really like the mechanics of Fallout Shelter and would love to make something similar, but closer to Rimworld. So I was wondering if anyone has any ideas, how would you change Fallout Shelter to be like Rimworld? I'm thinking of adding a lot more building options, maybe like a mechanics room that you can make materials and guns in and upgrade the room to make it more efficient, but not it consumes power. So basically make all sorts of rooms to choose from. A growing room, butchering/cooking etc. Would love to hear any one else's ideas, even if you think it's silly, it might make me think of a similar mechanic, so don't be afraid to brainstorm. The game would be free to play of course, and if I use your idea, I'd try to give you credit/something nice to make it worth your effort
I've completed the task collect 10 000 caps on fallout shelter twice now with two different shelter's and I haven't got the trophy can anyone help?
Thoughts?
I'm looking for a game similar to Fallout Shelter. Not necessarily the building style or anything like that, but something that requires the same amount of my attention as Fallout Shelter does. Something I can have open on my main monitor while still being able to focus fully on whats on my 2nd monitor. Same type of game would still be cool though! Something easy to pick up and play.
I thought of playing Adventure Capitalist to meet this goal, but incrementals fuck too much with my dopamine levels.
But to summarize: I want a game with few setbacks if I'm not paying attention without making me pause the game, doesnt have to resemble fallout shelter in any way other than that, but if there are games similar in all capacities that would be cool too.
