A list of puns related to "Environmental issues in Delhi"
My cousin just bought a Prius. When he was telling me about it, he mentioned he had to get his house rewired, because the electrical couldn't handle EV charging as it was before he bought the car. A lot of people I talk to have said they got their houses tested, and found out they'd have to do the same thing. Most of the houses in my mid-Michigan city were built in the first half of the 1900s, and have been scarcely updated since. Hell, most of the outlets in my house still only have 2 holes instead of 3. I got my house tested, and surprise surprise, it was also unfit for an EV charger.
This is a huge problem, and it doesn't seem to be getting addressed all that thoroughly by people pushing electric vehicle, nor does the issue of batteries just going into landfills and leeching chemicals into the environment seem to be getting addressed. I believe that if we're deadset on going with electric vehicles, rather than pursuing more environmentally friendly liquid fuels, such as hydrogen, we should at least provide a government assistance program that completely covers a home owner/renter/landlord's cost of rewiring a house, to be more fit for electric vehicle charging.
As for the environmental concerns, I believe we should be looking more seriously into liquid hydrogen, and if the technology isn't ready, use electric vehicles as a stepping stone. I really don't see a way to make the battery problem not be a problem, without just not using them.
I have always been more cognizant of my impact on the environment ever since I was little, but these past few days it has become a special interest of mine. Specifically, I have been interested in Environmental History. Does anyone else have this passion for the environment?
Title and for context, I live in a small apartment in NYC (one window, but facing another building so very little natural light in the bedroom) and have a high-stress job. Iβve dealt with chronic migraines for 18 months which I linked to histamine issues, cut out coffee / alcohol / caffeine and was marginally better.
Is it possible my symptoms are not only food related? I had 0 symptoms on vacation despite not tracking whether the food I was eating was high or low histamine.
Is it possible my apartment is causing the issues? Maybe from dust or mold - how could I find out? Or is it more likely to be stress related from my job (i.e not working on vacation likely alleviated my symptoms).
Are there blood tests I can run for any more information?
Really appreciate any thoughts - my headaches have become so debilitating my life is impaired on a daily basis.

I started my application on the 12th of November 2021 for a standard tourist visa and was told it would take approximately 15 Days for the Visa to be processed with some expected delays. On the 2nd of December 2021 (20 days later), I get the following message from UKVI :
Thank you for your UK visa application which has been received and is under consideration. We aim to process applications:
Non-settlement within 15 working days Priority Visas within 5 working days Settlement within 60 working days.
Please be aware that due to extremely high demand, standard UK visitor visas are taking significantly longer than usual to be processed by UK Visas and Immigration, you should bear this in mind when making any bookings. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience to all affected customers and we are working to process all applications as soon as possible. You will be contacted by the Visa Application Centre when your passport is ready for collection. Please do not attend the Visa Application Centre until you have been invited to do so.
Since this email I havenβt gotten a single update from UKVI or VFS and now itβs been over 55 Days (6th Jan today). My plan of spending New Years with my fiancΓ© got screwed and at this point Iβm furious with UKVIβs terrible service.
Has anyone else had a similar problem? How can one deal with this? Should I just cancel and get my passport back?
UPDATE : Finally got a message today (11th January 2022) from VFS that itβs been dispatched via courier. So itβs basically taken them complete 3 Months to approve a Standard Tourist Visa. Hope this helps anyone applying or waiting for their visa. Thanks everyone who replied :)
Iβm going to buy a new leaf blower and I like the electric ones. However I have heard making batteries whether for a tesla or small engine is just as bad due to mining the lithium and manufacturing the battery
