A list of puns related to "Disco 2000 (song)"
I don't remember a whole lot about it, I thought it was Jack White but upon further inspection of Jack Whites and The White Stripes music videos none of them match up. I know it was on the VH1 channel that would play early 2000s punk music. I want to say it was like an all white room with the person in the room walking through doors. I wish I could remember more and I have looked all over the internet with no luck.
Thank you in advance for any help!
Basically its a mans voice that says rock the disco with some synth strings in the back that kind of sound like a womens voice
Hey!
I have attached a link to a Vocaroo.
This song is usually in movies/shows during club scenes with sensual dancing. It has a disco/80s trance vibe.
I think it is a male singer, singing in a high voice.
Thanks!

Google search has been unfruitful.
Video of a guy in full body armor with an altyn helmet watching a disco song (caramelldansen maybe?) and strobe lights of the music video flashing in his visor, while wearing a velcro patch of Ricardo.
If you know what I'm talking about, post the link please.
Platform(s): Flash game in browser
Genre: 2D?, 3rd Person?, Point and Click, Adventure
Estimated year of release: Likely 2006-2014
Graphics/art style: Characters I think drawn in Newgrounds style, bright colors, main house was maybe in a big open space with definitely a forest to the north or east, maybe a volcano / alien mothership / something weird nearby to the left?, path to a town east or south.
Notable characters: Started in a house with women, maybe one man besides the main character, may have been on the mature side but not overly so. I think there was a few odd sci fi and/or fantasy characters thrown in, possibly a cat, but mostly women.
Notable gameplay mechanics: I think you were going around finding objects to progress the story, and possibly stave off an alien invasion.
Other details: MOST CONCRETE DETAIL! Featured in the game, either as the title theme or other prominent music, "Shiny Disco Balls" by Who Da Funk. The song stood out to me and is the whole reason I remember the game at all. I've been searching for this game for hours and am at a loss. It really seemed like a Newgrounds game but I haven't had luck searching on their website, nor a few other game hosts. I greatly appreciate your taking the time to read this!
I need help finding a song that has been stuck in my head. Iβve scoured all my playlists and it isnβt on any of them.
I don't know how obscure the song is, I want to say it is well known but Iβm not sure. I reconstructed the pat of the melody I remember, and showed the lyrics corresponding to the melody in this youtube vid here: https://youtu.be/cE__FXuv1e4 (it is scuffed but these are the lengths im going to to try and find this song)
Facts about the song:
-to me it feels like an older band song but with edm elements
-very synth-y in this section
-sung by a male but with reverb (kind of like the vocals in the song shock horror-shy luv, JONES at around 1:50)
-I feel like this song would have been played at a club
-I donβt know the lyrics but Iβm always tempted to start it off singing βit was the super sonicβ'Β (although im sure these aren't the actual lyrics but maybe someone will know it based on similar sounding words)
-the part I reconstructed is the chorus, and it repeats like that for a couple lines I believe.
I appreciate all effort and help! Thank you :))
but I canβt find it on there page. I think itβs got walking in the title or as a recurring lyric, and the music video has a baby giving the middle finger and something with a speed limit sign, lyrics maybe about 100 mph or something.
It's been driving me crazy for the whole weekend...
I'm looking for a well known disco/pop/electro/house/nu-disco song from the 90s or early 2000s. At first, I thought it was Music Sounds Better With You, but no. Then, I thought it was Lady (Hear Me Tonight), but no. It's quite similar to those songs, though. Same era, same type of music, same groove, same energy, etc. There's a male voice singing lyrics, the voice is also quite similar to the voice from Music Sounds Better With You.
In a live session from Radiohead, Thom Yorke plays some of the notes from that song on a keyboard. Here's the clip (the notes can be heard from 37:12 to 37:21): https://youtu.be/hI5YMDioDBY?t=2232
The song I'm looking for uses those same inverted-like keyboard sounds... That's all I have, unfortunately...
Not necessarily in style but in terms of melodies especially in the chorus. Perhaps they follow a similiar chord progression or key? As soon as I heard the vocal melody and accompaniment in the chorus it reminded me of Disco 2000. Again, Iβm talking more about melodies and progressions here rather than genre.
I had a flashback the other day of a song that we were forced to dance to in elementary school every week, but I cannot find this song. The song was about a Disco Shark with a woman's voice that sounded like a knockoff of the woman who sang the Electric Slide.
Some lyrics I remember are
"Watch out here comes the disco shark, you better watch out..."
"Having lots of fun....then the disco shark will come and take you away"
This song is in no way associated with Baby Shark. I cannot find anything that is not baby shark related when I search for this song.
To mention a few examples:
Pitbull
Black Eyed Peas
Coldplay
Katy Perry
Lady Gaga
BeyoncΓ©
David Guetta
Rihanna
Taio Cruz
Florida
And soooo on...
Or songs like:
Fireflies - Owl city
This is The Life - Amy Macdonald
Summer Jam - The Underdog Project
Relax, Take it Easy - Mika
Admittedly, I heard this song in the background of an "adult video." Though this audio clip is completely SFW and features just the song. I've spent hours combing through stock music sites and Shazam brings up nothing. Here is a link to the audio and here are the lyrics I can make out:
Anytime of day, hit me up
Always want [more, can't get enough]
[Dance with me]
[Can you feel the burning fire?]
[Dance with me]
Feel the flame it's getting hotter
Dance with me
[???] you are my heart's desire
Dance with me
Hold me tight, don't let go now
Dance with me
Can you feel the burning fire?
Dance with me
Feel the the flame, it's getting hotter
Dance with me
[???] you are my heart's desire
Dance with me
Hold me tight, don't let go now
Dance with me, Dance with me
Come on and dance with me
Move with me, Move with me
Get in the groove with me
Dance with me, Dance with me
Come and dance with me
Dance with me, Dance with me
Come on and dance with me
Dance with me
Can you feel the burning fire?
Dance with me
Feel the flame, it's getting hotter
Dance with me
[???] you are my heart's desire
Dance with me
Hold me tight, don't let go now
The video's studio does not exist any longer sadly so I cannot reach out to any media buyers or track down any creators who might know.
I was at a shopping centre, so I didn't hear it properly. All I know is that it was a female with a very soft voice singing and it had a typical early 2000s "techno" beat. Unfortunately (or rather fortunately), I only remember one lyric, and that is "satisfy". The chorus is very melodic and emotional. It's like a sentimental ballad but in techno/house rhythm, if you will. No, it's not Feels So Good by Sonique.
Sorry, but that was the best I got. :(

Hey guys. I posted before but I will delete and hopefully theres someone who can help me find the song I'm looking for.
The song was released in or before 2003.
This song starts off with a disco kinda bass line similar to Billie Jean by Michael Jackson with a male voice singing "This is the way is the way is the way" with some effects on it. Eventually a female comes in singing "this is the way it's always been, feels like life/love is all just/only a dream." The "/" giving options of what I remember and what the lyrics could be.
Its not E-Type "This is the way". Bpm is about 130. The singing doesn't sound typical eurodance or heavy techno with all kinds of synths and high energy. Its more like disco/house with a trance element and not something that played on the radio frequently. Ove heard it twice in my life and once was at a friend's house, the other time was on a radio mix.
Thanks in advance!
Could be Canadian, and is probably on those old dance mixes but I've looked at a bunch and no dice yet.
Hi, please help me to find this song:
The high pitch male voice on all of the song, sounds like Pharrell Williams on Daft Punk's "Loose yourself to dance" chorus.
It start kind of acapella for a few lines before the funk/disco type of music kicks in.
I recall that in the chorus, one part say something like "baby why don't you understand".
Hope that's enough to identify it, thanks in advance for reading and for any tips on finding it.
In the 3d animated music video for this song (electronic pop from around 2005 I think), there were some robots that got transported to a big robot disco, and they're getting chased throughout it? I remember there being a big disco ball as well. The animation wasn't very good (mid 2000s). I've scoured the internet and I can't find anything. Thankyou!
I can provide a MIDI/ online sequencer link of what I came up in my mind. It's related to the melody:

I must have listened it a dozen times in parties recently.
Heard this song as a backing track earlier https://youtu.be/57uMxPAsT7A?t=561 at the 9:20 mark, Its quite hard to hear in this example so I attempted to remove the vocals and just leave the backing track which you can find here [Warning: quite loud for some reason] https://vocaroo.com/i/s0AfasJdL1Qh
I likely heard it at a kids disco or something similar, everyone I've shown it to recognises it but no-one can name the song or artist or even a similar song. I was quite tempted to add it to youtube and see if the youtube copyrighted music thing could identify it or see who copyright flags it and hopefully find it that way, but I'm hoping someone here can help.
Tried searching "doo du doo du" on google to no luck, but I would really like to find this song. Thanks to anyone who can help.
I keep remembering and losing this song periodically (really should've bookmarked it by now) and always struggle to find it again! I swear the lyrics are something like "I found love, and it knocked me down on the floor" and/or "I found love, got a little taste and now I want more" (male singer). It should be 2000-2010 era, kind of electronic pop music...I believe the music video had someone with a disco ball for a head, but I could be mistaken or that might've been a fan-made YouTube video. I feel like this should be easier to find but Google isn't helping! If anyone suddenly knows what song I'm talking about, please comment! :)
I am absolutely lost at this point the song is quite similar but I just cant seem to remember its name
https://vocaroo.com/i/s0BKbOscKnZz This is the chorus melody. Song is fast and sort of punk rock. Heard this song on an alternative radio station. Lyrics might be something like "Maybe! I'm falling in love tonight.", or to that effect. Tried skimming PATD's albums but no dice.
