Dholes, despite their depictions in popular media, only rarely take livestock and there has only been one documented attack on a human in history from a rabid individual. Yet they're more endangered than tigers with only 2,500 adults left in the wild and are heavily persecuted.
Unlike wolf packs, in which the breeding pair monopolizes food, Dholes give priority to the pups when feeding at a kill, allowing them to eat first.
Emailed the safari park about a fox we thought had broken into their enclosure. 10 minutes later we see the sign, they are dholes. So basically I emailed the safari park about their animal which they know they have.
Emailed them saying "it looks like a fox has broken into the enclosure and is trying to find a way to escape. Just wanted to let you know in case it gets hurt". Hope they didn't spend too much time looking for it!
