A list of puns related to "Depth gauge"
I got the Garmin Mk2i with air integration, do I need to have a pressure and depth gauge in addition to that?
Anybody have methods of indicating depth in a pond on the order of 6-12feet? I am trying to monitor water fluctuations. I was thinking something like a rope with marked buoys every foot. But maybe there is something more elegant or off the shelf. Thanks!
There was some discussion the other day about the gauge ball method for measuring countersinks, and u/robbgo82 mentioned he had an excel sheet calculator for the task.
This generated a lot of interest and he was kind enough to be willing to share it, but wasn't sure how to make it work.
We exchanged a couple PM's and he emailed it to me, and here it is.
You should be able to open the link, which will open the file in a web browser, and can then save it to wherever you like.
If anybody has trouble downloading it, either comment here or message me and I'll figure out a way to get it to you.
All credit for this goes to u/robbgo82, all I've done is upload it and post the link. Thank him, not me.

Do any of you carry a Tyre depth gauge on you?
Hi gang, just wondering how annoying it is to use the needles that use a little plastic sleeve to shorten the loops, as opposed to Ultrapunch style needles with a dial or notches. Other than the obvious, of having to cut the thread to side sleeves on and off the tip to change the loop size, is there anything else that is a problem? I only have an UltraPunch for thread and was looking at those small needle kits with the plastic sleeves for needle depth. Thanks for any input.
I'm booked for an AIDA 2 course later this month and have been enjoying freediving on my own for around a year (I know it's not advisable).
Since I've been getting deeper (excuse the pun) into the sport I have been craving both the ability to know how deep or how long I'm diving for, as well as being able to capture the incredible landscapes and marine life I find. Budget restraints mean I can only have one at the moment.
I am fully aware it's fun without these things, though some more experienced opinions would be welcome!
