A list of puns related to "Dahmer (film)"
Hey guys, watched the above last night and really really enjoyed this, likely due to my facination with serial killers and the morbid side of life, I think what peaked me the most about this film is I had heard a lot about dahmer and his killings, but never really delved deep into his life...
As above i'm looking for other movies about serial killers or murderers which will keep me on the edge of my seat in anticipation!!
Thanks in advanced!!
Hi everyone! My film Friend Dahmer comes out 11.3.17 in the US. Trailer, cities and playdates here: Filmrise.com/my-friend-dahmer. It was a thrill to work with a talented cast including Ross Lynch, Alex Wolff, Anne Heche, Dallas Roberts and Vincent Kartheiser. Canβt wait to answer some questions!

I love visually pleasing movies with a good plot and when they show something real. Whether controversial or not I enjoy the realness.I also like new approaches to certain topics. If the movie is memorable itβs a win for me. I saw Kubrick and Lynch movies too. (loved Kubrick)
Many people to this day believe that Dahmer was insane, including some FBI agents. They believe his story that hated killing and was pretty much black out drunk while murdering people. Others point to his efforts to create βliving sex zombiesβ as evidence of his insanity, or his βskeleton murder shrine.β This is all easy to explain as the actions of a very calculating sex murderer, not an insane and guilty man.
Yes, Dahmer did actually try to make zombie slaves. He drilled holes in their heads, while they were still alive but drugged, and poured boiling water or acid inside. This was a very scientific approach to his macabre goal. An example of what a psychotic person might do to create a human zombie might be performing some kind of ritual or the belief that one has psychic powers which can create a zombie slave. Dahmer was fascinated with human anatomy and likely reveled in playing the βmad surgeonβ on his victims. I think itβs likely he grew up reading about lobotomies (which were performed until shortly before Dahmer was born). Thereβs little chance Dahmer performed these operations while black out drunk.
Dahmer also collected his tools of murder over many months- which included 55 gallon drums and strong acid to dissolve flesh, and power tools to dismember corpses. He managed to use these instruments to dispose of over a dozen adult corpses in an apartment complex without being caught for many months. A psychotic killer is simply not capable of these complex actions. Psychotic killers tend to kill their victims in a sloppy manner, usually with a blitz attack in a semi-public area, and then leave the body where it lies. Dahmerβs crimes were well planned and executed over many months. Thereβs almost zero chance Dahmer could dismember a corpse and dissolve it in a vat of acid all while wasted, or if he was truly psychotic.
Dahmerβs plans to built an altar out of the skeletons of his victims is also incredibly bizarre. But you have the understand the psychology of Dahmer- he loved being around dead bodies, or even parts of dead bodies. Even from a young age, he was fascinated with animal bones. It makes perfect sense that such a killer would want to construct a private area to be close to the bones of his victims and to reflect on his crimes. Dahmer knew exactly what he did to living people and he enjoyed reveling in memories of murder.
And yes, itβs well known that Dahmer was an alcoholic to some degree. The majority of serial killers use alcohol
... keep reading on reddit β‘When he threw 3 parties to get Robin to come, and ran to her news reporting location to casually run into her and invite her - Total Dahmer move lmao but I love Ted, heβs my favorite character
And older Ted Narrator even says βThen I saw... Robin. She was incredible. I just knew I had to meet her.β
Couldnβtβ¦standβ¦the thoughtβ¦of not meeting her!
This is my first time posting here, so I decided to go with something I know a bit more about. Whenever I have absolutely nothing to watch I always find myself back at this movie, it's definitely not the best but there's just something that keeps me fascinated with it. Do you guys enjoy this film as well?
In S5,Ep2 when Dr. Goldman walks in on alice and Kevin Jeffery comes in after him complaining that he left in the middle of his therapy session and then insults Kevin and Kevin tells him to eat me and Jeffry says maybe he will. Was wondering if anyone else caught this
He also worked at a chocolate factory for a bit
Love true crime TV and just watched this special on Jeffrey Dahmer. I was completely appalled at this particular victim- long story short, a simple ID check by cops at the scene would have saved this kidβs life. But they failed at that. I canβt believe it! I mean, even when you get pulled over for a minor traffic offense the cop checks your ID!!
Anyway, right after that, I had to go pick my son up from work. I canβt get this poor kid outta my head. As soon as my son gets in the car, I say βI just heard about this poor kid who got killed by Jeffrey Dahmer and it totally could have been prevented!β And my son says βI donβt want to hear about it.β But I couldnβt keep my dumb mouth shut and just kept venting about it. Now I feel really bad about not respecting his request to not hear it.
TL;DR I was shocked after a tv special showed a tragically preventable crime, vented to my teenage son while picking him up from work. Feel bad about not respecting his request to not hear about it.

May 27, 1991:
Konerak Sinthasomphone, 14. The younger brother of the boy Dahmer had assaulted in 1988. Sinthasomphone was drugged and had hydrochloric acid injected into his brain before Dahmer left the youth unattended as he left the apartment to purchase beer. When he returned, he discovered Sinthasomphone naked and disoriented in the street, with three distressed young women attempting to assist him. When police arrived, Dahmer persuaded them he and Sinthasomphone were lovers and that the youth was simply intoxicated. When police left Sinthasomphone with Dahmer in his apartment, Dahmer again injected hydrochloric acid into Sinthasomphone's brain, and this proved fatal. His head was retained in the freezer and his body dismembered
Dahmer was 31. The boy was only 14. Police really just gave him back while he had a hole drilled in his head, was naked in the streets, and had neighbors saying he needed help.
Can we give this one its flowers, please? Its an outstanding, mostly accurate adaptation of the graphic novel that doesnβt get a lot of praise on my radar. A total sleeper hit. The atmosphere, the look, the acting, all of it is pleasing to watch. A real gem. With all the love for serial killer movies, it has been strangely under appreciated in circles of discussion.
I've watched a great many docs on the case over the years but I never seem to get a lot of detail when it comes to what Dahmer was actually doing to his victims in this regard. Besides the vague details about drilling into the heads and injecting boiled water, I can't seem to find much else.
I'm probably overthinking the situation. It's not as if the guy had any sort of real medical knowledge whatsoever, so I understand if the reason I can't find out more is because there simply isn't anything else to know.
I'm in the middle of a short story series based on these 'experiments', and I'm likely woefully short on pertinent information. Any links, off-hand knowledge or little known details about them or Dahmer in general would be much appreciated.
