I gotta admit I admire the balls to just doing what it took to get the gore out again and get back to what everyone wanted to see. At this point, it seemed even the writers and the producers knew that they couldn’t feasibly sell any more “also also also” accomplices, as Adum indicated got particularly ridiculous by Jigsaw, so they had to abandon John Kramer almost entirely.

I like the idea of throwing relevance and logic to the wall just to give people what they paid for, which is a series of people being tortured, and suffering horrific gory deaths. I just don’t like how this particular film also benefits from branding itself as a Saw film continuation of sorts, which virtually takes care of all the marketing you need because people are thinking Jigsaw and John Kramer and what comes next at this point.

Nothing ended up coming next because following the events of Saw VII was virtually impossible given the fact that I don’t think many of the main characters were interested in returning and getting Cary Elwes for the finale was something of a hardship too. Much easier to backtrack and provide a meaningless sequel that adds nothing really other than another foray into gore and mouse traps.

I don’t know what this means for the future, but I do know that the movie was definitely entertaining, even though it had nothing to do with Saw and tried desperately to connect it with the pigs and pig masks and TVs and recorded threats, all just pretty, ahem, HAMMY, when you get down to it and it still has its so bad it’s good moments like virtually every bit of shameless acting the “apathetic emotionless serial killer” portrayal Max Minghella gives.

I’m curious tos we what Adum would have to say because he jokingly devised a scenario from his Jigsaw review about him having an evil twin or something that was actually killed while the real Kramer operates or something, but now that the people who made the franchise became fully aware and stopped trying to pedal the idea that a Kramer story could really continue, I wonder what angle he’ll get to criticize this film from.

I don’t know if he likes the film or has seen it, but it’s probably one of my most anticipated things I hope he gets to speak on soon enough.

I was just wondering, why they haven't revived Copycat in the Krakoan X-Men. She is one of the strongest mutant metamorphs out there able to copy appearance and power on a genetic level. Any mental instabilities she may have could have been controlled by Xavier during the resurrection process. Just surprised she hasn't been appearing in recent comics to boost her profile even though she is constantly used in Deadpool films. Random thoughts lingering

So, the reason Copycat is among my favorite epsiodes is because of its really quick subversive direction it goes when they stumble across the budgie. I always thought Bandit was telling the truth at the end of the episode when he said "Hey Bluey, you stopped copying me!", and the more I thought of that line, it suddenly came to me... she never stopped copying him, she just stopped teasing him.

She recreates the whole scene, mimicking her dad, most of it was likely subconscious, but it was 100% out of respect for him. It's just so beautiful to me how much she looks up to her dad and wants to be just like him in scary situations like that. And the whole epsiode takes the title "Copycat" and flips it on its head. I used to think the events that play out made the title misleading, which is why I loved it, but now realizing that everything ties back to it absolutely floored me.

This, of course, raises my appreciation of the episode so much more. It was already way up there, but man, now I think it's among the absolute best.

Some of those websites are just the same company who has registered multiple company names, but present exactly the same offers, website layout, newsletters and offers.

For example, this morning within the same minute, I received 3 newsletters from 3 copycat websites (Foletti = Techmania = PC Ostschweiz) advertising the same offer on the Micro SD Card 256 gb.

Hey /cooking! I need some help. I have been trying for years to recreate chipotle's delicious cilantro lime rice at home and I have not once been successful.

I have followed numerous recipes Like this one here and this And probably many others that I can't seem to find right now but you get the point. I've tried different recipes and all have failed.

I use my rice cooker to make it I didn't have basmati (which im pretty sure chipotle uses standard white long grain, if definitely doesnt taste like basmati anytime I get chipotle, they don't serve basmati rice like you get at an indian restaurant, they're WAYYYY different) so I used jasmine rice since that's what always have on hand.

I added bay leaves, lime/lemon juice, salt, cilantro, and olive oil. I don't know why but it NEVER tastes right.

I just don't understand it, should I be using a sauce pan instead of my rice cooker? Can that really mess with the flavor /that/ much?? Or is it the jasmine rice that's messing it up?

Please tell me what I'm doing wrong! My chipotle nearby is notoriously bad and dirty which super bums me out, but I want to make chipotle at home so I don't miss it as much!

I’m a Vietnamese fan of the Dream SMP (so sorry for poor grammar). In Vietnam, due to the language difference, the majority of MCYT fans cannot watch DSMP. To solve this, there are many channels translate short clips from the SMP, and there is also a large Youtuber (Channy - 1.7m sub) makes lore summary videos, similar to EvanMCGaming style. However, there is a group of content creators that bluntly steal the lore of the dreamsmp, make there own videos based on this lore as if they created it and give no credit to either Dream or the Dream SMP. They are Team Sinh Tố (Smoothie team), which is currently the biggest Minecraft Youtuber group in Vietnam in term of viewership. As of 08/01/2022, they include:

They made an entire series called “Sinh Tố nếu như”, which translated to “What if Smoothie” . This is a replica of the Dream SMP with some improvisations (with the name of the Marvel What If? series) that has over 30 videos over multiple channels. They literally copied every single event and plot point from DSMP with them being the actors, such as the L’manberg revolution, Manberg vs Pogtopia, Doomsday, Disk War,.. like EVERYTHING. The only difference is the buildings (they still have the “Community house”, the “Prison”, “L’manberg” that are named differently…) and the character’s name. You just need to search the term “Sinh Tố nếu như” on Youtube and look at the thumbnail or use google translate to understand the video’s name, you will understand immediately what am I saying. A dude with a wither beating everyone up is clearly Techno, a dude with TNT with the caption “If Hiha has a traitor inside the village” is clearly Wilbur, “If Durian is killed by Huy Noob and became ghost Durian” is Ranboo based on the thumbnail,… I can’t watch all of them to find similarities due to it being very cringe with quotes(from Techno, Ranboo, Dream,…) that are translated into Vietnamese which totally changes the meaning and jokes that somehow worse than DrewDrink’s sense of humour. Moreover, their “improvisations” are so illogical and make no sense that it feels like reading Harry Pott

I'm disappointed by a recent increase in unoriginal knockoffs using Google sites and copying my format with very little alteration even of my writing. They cheapen the years of work put into Serina, which was at one time a unique concept.

Terraformed world/seed world projects should never have become a trope. Serina was a standalone weird premise project that worked because it was something creative.

You guys should try that sometime. If you have to do a seed world, do something different. "Serina but Lizard", "Serina but Chimps", they're derivative and uninteresting.
