A list of puns related to "Chafing (skin)"
I already alerted the owners and his mom said that the harness must be on incorrectly. But the thing is, I noticed the chafing this morning so I put the harness on a different way thinking that must be the problem. Turns out the original way I had it was correct. I donβt know if I walked him for too long or what, but I had the harness on correctly and he still chafed. I feel really bad and I hope the little guy recovers quickly, but Iβm also really worried about getting a bad review. The harness isnβt padded or soft, itβs just not a good harness. I really love dog sitting so Iβm worried this will ruin my business :(
I've also got overall darkening of the whole area and it's making me very self concious. What can I do to help even everything out?
As the title implies, I've found the ABC Joggers to be somewhat "scratchy". The surge felt great, but the ABC feels like it doesn't slide smoothly against the skin. Love the aesthetic, but the reason I got something from Lululemon was comfort. Do they just need to be washed or something?
Hi, first-time poster here. I (27F) sometimes get this peculiar sensation on my arms and legs mostly where my skin becomes irritated or at least feels irritated. It feels like chafing and its mainly on my lower legs near my knee and inner arms near my elbow. I sometimes get it in my armpit but i chalk that up to actual chafing. My skin feels very tingly in a painful way and actually touching it is more painful. Feels like it's raw and seems to occur randomly. It also looks red and splotchy sometimes but never a noticeable redness.
Hoping for some insight on it. I can provide more info if need be. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
I work at a plastic extrusion plant that's usually 10 or so degrees hotter inside than outside since the machines are running at such high temps. My job requires lots of moving around for 12 hour shifts. I use baby powder and baby rash ointment but still it happens all the time where at the end of the day I'm waddling around in immense pain. Can anyone give me any tips that's worked for you? My balls thank you all.
I chafe when I run really badly bacause of my dumptruck ass and KFC thighs. Which is the main reason I don't really run. However I I'm currently in a golden opportunity to get better at running.
Question is will my body eventually get used to chafing until I lose enough weight? Kinda like blisters or thicker skin forming on the hands?
Or am I going to need to buy rub on/anti friction products.
Basically I messed up very badly⦠I stupidly ran a half marathon without wearing underwear and wore new running shorts for the first time.
After 2 miles I realised I had f*cked up as the friction between my legs was so painful. Because Iβm an idiot I pushed through the pain and finished the 13 miles only to find blood pouring down both my legs.
Itβs been two days now and Iβm walking like I have a stick up my bum! The scabs have βhardenedβ and I can barely walk up the stairs without a tearing sensation. I know it will improve with time but Iβm almost bed bound lol.
Has anyone experienced this and what helped you?
Iβm not sure to keep applying sudocrem and keep the injury moisturised or allow it to dry out and heal slowly.
The same must be true of pubic hair, but oddly enough, every dog Iβve met and befriended enough to belly rub was the opposite: fur all over, but no pubes, and bare armpits. What gives?
Hello Fellow BroMos,
I am dealing with some major chafing in my "undercarriage" and came to you all for advice. (Besides "stop being fat")
I get this fairly often. I use zinc baby cream, arm and hammer powder, arm and hammer chafe sticks, body glide...etc. Also, this is well into the cervices not my thighs so those thigh bands don't help at all.
The main two reasons I have this issue is sweat and urine. (I had two kids and I have ADHD.) Panty liners tend to bunch up in my panties and cause more issues than help.
Are there other ways to avoid chafing? I work in an office (even during this panini) and don't have a way to change out of damp panties during my work day easily. My ADHD, even with medicine, still allows me to ignore body cues.
Suggestions and dubious advice welcome.
Edit: Thank you all for the amazing suggestions. I will be seeing my doctor about it and trying out different ideas. Please keep them coming, you may help out someone else with similar issues! Much love BroMo Fam!
I just had by 1 year keto-versary and it's been successful enough (yay!) that I now have loose skin (boo!). Especially the tummy. It's approaching 100 degrees and I don't have air-conditioning. The chafing is getting bad.
I have tried a couple anti-chafing creams but it isn't enough. I have trouble attaching medical dressings/bandages because I get just as bad a rash from anything glue/sticky, and trying to keep them in place otherwise has not worked.
So, ketoers - what suggestions/ideas do you have? The biggest issue is right in the fold under the tummy, especially off to the sides. Some better anti-chafing products? Other products? Other ways to MacGyver something to protect that fold?
Any creative ideas appreciated.
KCKO, my peeps!
While I'm not a particularly large guy (5'8, 160 pounds) my thighs are large and rub together frequently. 99.9% of the time, this presents no issues, even if I'm running. However, a combination of humidity, heat, sand, and physical activity, serves to cause the area in between my thighs to chafe, swell, and get red (Especially around stretch marks I got when I started lifting). Given that Parris Island is in fact, an island in South Carolina, I was wondering what steps I could take to reduce this issue, as humidity, heat, sand, and physical activity are what I will be experiencing there. Thank you in advance.

Chafing is the most number 1 thing that I hate about being fat. Ive always dealt with it ever since I was in elementary school. No matter how much I washed the area, I still would end up getting them. My goal isnt to be slim as possible. Its just to be slim enough, so that I dont experience these painful, stinky, itchy boils on my privates anymore. Despite only having 40lb left to lose to hit the lowest weight i can be, I still struggle the same when i was almost 300lb. I know that body powder exists but that stuff is like $5 for a tiny bottle. So applying that everyday would end up costing more than what I pay for body wash and shampoo. I find it frustrating that im managing to chafe, in the winter when im not even working out. Despite showering daily, I get them anyway. I even have to hang my abdominal fat out of my sweatpants just so the skin doesnt rub together. Most people lose weight for looks, getting rid of joint pain and, such. Meanwhile im over here just dying to get rid of this chafing fiasco. Its so painful that i can barely move and, when I try to force myself to do so, the boils end up bursting. I use to have chafing between my love handles and, thankfully they've been gone for quite some time. My abdominal area is the most stubborn part of my body that doesnt want to get rid of fat. I lose everywhere else except there and it kinda drives me nuts, due to my situation. My life would be a lot easier if I didnt have to worry about applying body powder before I decide to move around for long periods of time.
I'm in a nervous situation... This rash(?) started forming on my inner thigh right next to groin on both sides of my legs. I do partake in unprotected sex. My partner tested negative for everything and came back clean late last year. The rash(?) doesn't itch... and it's not really changing shapes/ forms.. I have tried putting vaseline on some nights, should I continue doing so?

Should I go see someone? With lockdown + quarantine right now, I was looking into buying a sex health kit online (reputable source) and sending in my blood/urine.
Any suggestions please and thank you~
In he begging of my career with amazon i would chafe really bad between my thighs.
I started using spray deodorant between my thighs and after my shower I would use aquaphor and that helped a lot.
However, a year later, I am chafing again but not between my inner thighs but now between my thighpit and booty cheek... I have a big butt that chafes by inner thigh/pit.
My at home aid doesnβt seem to be working any longer. Do you guys have any additional advice for me ? I consider this urgent since we are doing peak already and I donβt know how im gonna hang.
The chaffing is the worst when I am doing pick and stage. It hurts so bad that i always VTO just so I wonβt have to do pick and stage and end up losing out in money.
Can I get a difference position other than doing pick list ? Iβve seen a lot of ppl ( mostly girls) walk around and even sit. I donβt know what they do, I just know itβs not pick and stage.
I always end up crying in pain after work in my car. I donβt want to tell my managers that I canβt do what they ask me too, especially because the reason for it is so embarrassing, but I really am struggling.
Any advice that will help me is greatly appreciated.
We're lucky enough to have a daycare that is amenable to cloth diapers, but we have a recurring issue where baby is getting red irritated skin on her thighs. For a long time I thought it was an issue with my wash routine but I figured out it's only happening after she's happening at daycare and it's due to them not getting the right fit. Fortunately it doesn't seem to bother her too much but it sure looks awful.
I think what happens is that they don't get the fit right so then her skin gets red from chafing, then they put the diapers on loose, thinking it will help but it only ends up making the chafing worse. (They do have a persistent leak issue too)
Asides from telling them again and again that the diaper should fit tighter than they think, and that they need to work to get it into the creases of her legs, anyone have any tips? I'm thinking about getting those snap covers so they have to snap it the way I would, but baby's size fluctuates so much from week to week as she goes through the cycles of eat and grow that I'd have to change the snaps practically every time I wash, and it wouldn't solve the problem of them not getting the elastic into the creases.
My friends and I took in a disabled dog (he was beaten by previous owners and left for dead in a park..). He has since recovered and is a very happy boy now, however his back legs are paralyzed. We fitted him with a wheelchair but after a few months we found it really chafes his skin/ thighs really badly. He is energetic and we can't bear just leaving him without any means of mobility. Any suggestions for chafe-friendly wheelchairs or alternatives? Thanks
My son gets rlly bad diaper rashes and chafes super bad usually. last time i posted something like this it was odd but this is weirder.
I had to use a gel formula of water based lube (only thing i had on hand at the time) to get his leg unstuck from something. but i also put it on his upper thigh where it chafed so his leg could easily slide out. NOT EVEN TEN MINUTES LATER THAT SIDE WAS FINE, NO REDNESS NOTHING.
and so like i noticed and aquaphor and stuff like that causes his diapers to not really hold liquids so i tried adding a lil of the same lube on his butt. LOW AND BELHOLD HIS DIAPER RASH IS GONE
when i say ive tried everything for his diaper rash, ive tried EVERYTHING, even old wives tales. But if your child has sensitive skin and petroleum based stuff doesnt seem to work how u want, just a lil bit goes a long way and wont bother them and it isnt a sticky mess nor does it compromise the diaper (cloth or disposable)
I know it has been discussed in lengths here but nothing is helping.
I have been trying to get fit for running since I left running in 2016 due to reoccurring shin splints, so I decided to take long walks recently.
This is the first time I've faced this problem, specifically in my groin area and the area adjacent to my chest (where my arms rub with the body). It gets too bad that I have to stop the walk altogether.
I've tried vaseline and baby powder. Hasn't worked much. Any suggestions?
P.S. I am a guy.
I heard someone saying something like a big bandage that you can stick on both the parts that rub together to avoid chafing. Does that work?
I am sorry if it sounds gross, but I am a little too hairy down there. Any link between hair and chafing?
Iβve tried various types of underwear. Iβve tried no underwear. Iβve tried body glide. Iβve tried regular deodorant and nothing has vanquished my upper thigh area post-run chafing. I get in the shower thinking maybe this timeβ¦ and then the water hits.
Hello all. So Iβve been on a relatively strict keto diet since December and have lost around 85 pounds. Even with intermittent fasting, genetically I am prone to looking like a saggy baggy elephant, and my thighs and armpits reflect that ): I have been having some issues lately with my underwear rubbing against the loose skin in my pelvic area, causing a few spots of chronic irritation and also some lovely blue/purple raised bumps, which Iβm not sure if they are ingrown hairs or ? I used to get them off and on when my thighs touched. The worst spot of irritation I ended up shaving so I could apply Neosporin, and after a few days even without the Neosporin it was drastically better. Itβs making me think that it might be an issue with the friction between the extra skin, hair, and my underwear. Has anyone else experienced this? Besides being super strict about shaving (Iβd really rather not, especially with all the loose skin) Iβm open to any suggestions. I donβt believe I could afford skin removal surgery, unless I could get my PCP to make a claim that the irritation would warrant it for my insurance, which I doubt seeing as how itβs really only an irritation with bumps, and rarely an open sore issue.
So I woke up this morning, feeling good, happy to have slightly-better-than-wintry temps outside. It was around 6:30, and I wanted to go for a good half hour run. I got up, threw on a tanktop and some synthetic athletic shorts, hopped into my shoes, and took off. (Crucial mistake--I didn't bother putting on additional underwear, as my running shorts have them built in. Won't be doing that again.)
Being the morning, it wasn't freezing, but it was still a touch chilly. Maybe that's why I didn't realize what was happening at first. My dick just felt nicely... warm... as I continued to run, and the sensation, in contrast to the cold morning breeze on my upper body, was almost pleasing. That didn't last.
I made it maybe 15 minutes into my run when I started to realize the warmth wasn't warmth. The rough seam along the inside of my pants worked back and forth across my meatus like fine grain sandpaper, and the combination of the low grade of the abrasion with the cold had been enough so that serious damage was done by the time I stopped. I had to walk home about two miles, wincing every time my raw dickhead brushed the inside of my shorts. Since it's just nice enough to get out, everyone and their sister was out running to. I had to shuffle back while trying to create a balance between minimal contact and not looking like some kind of public masturbator.
TL;DR: the tip of my penis is raw and slightly bleeding because I went running in abrasive shorts.
Whether you call it thigh chafing or chub rub, itβs just as painful. By any name, itβs still skin irritation and, in this case, it gets more irritated with every step you take, especially in hot or humid weather. At its worse, it can become a rash of searing pain that literally stops you in your tracks.

tl;dr after sex i get painful stinging slits and redness around my vaginal opening. Please share any tips for dealing with this!
Hello everyone, I'm going to explain this as best as I can. Please ask any questions you need to get a better understanding.
For the past few years, I have not been having sex very much at all. One instance when I did have sex, I don't think we used enough lube and the skin around my vagina opening was so sore and there were long kind of slits in the skin. This has happened multiple times before then, but that time was definitely the worst. I had had sex with this particular person many times before this. After a few days, I was still in so much pain that I visited my doctor. She looked at it for a minute and said she was 95% sure I had herpes. That obviously freaked me out, I went through some blood tests but they came back negative for herpes. I received a call from the doctor's office saying I don't have herpes but did show signs of some bacteria related issue that she didn't explain at all and only gave me some long scientific name. I was prescribed a Z pack and it felt better within a few days.
After that experience (and some shit happening in my relationship) I hadn't had sex for about six months after that. Skip forward to a few weeks ago. I'm newly single and enjoying the company of a new man. Yes, we are having lots of sex and using plenty of lube, but still afterwards I feel this burning and stinging in the same locations. I looked closely with a mirror and there are two more slits, maybe 2 inches long, on either side of the opening. It's been 4 days and if anything they are getting worse.
I've tried ice, heat, and coconut oil on the area. Nothing is making it feel any better. Please share any info you might know about this!!! Thank you.
