I always like comparing the careers of artists with other artists & seeing if there's a correlation at all.
For example, Garth Brooks & Luke Combs have a similar trajectory & level of fame.
Well now I'm analyzing Lee Brice with Blake Shelton!
Both had a decent start but their first decade had some spotty success, in terms of radio success & fan demand.
It seems that since 2018's "Rumor".. Lee has been on a roll, not only with getting #1s at radio (4 consecutive #1s) but having mega hits with them on streaming and other fan demand services !!
Imo, Blake's career turned around about the same length of time (10 yrs after first single) with Honey Bee & The Voice catapulting Blake's career to new heights.
The only downside for Lee is that he doesn't have a weekly national TV show like the Voice.
Maybe he should do Dancing with the Stars?
So what is Miranda Lambert doing on Blake's New Year's special??? I thought they hated each other?
Edit: Ok, maybe I've got this wrong. When we originally tuned in, it looked like it was Blake's show, from his bar. Now the night has rolled on, and it looks like it's not exactly HIS show, as other locations are being filmed as well. Miranda HAS to be elsewhere. Wow, I thought it was too weird to be true!
I wanna know peoples opinion on this song
This might be a weird question, but I‘m not all too familiar with Blake. I saw a comment yesterday, saying it was „brave“ for Sasha to mention trans rights in front of Blake. Now, I know that Blake has a history of some questionable tweets and definitely goes too far sometimes with his jokes, but from what I‘ve seen he‘s a pretty good guy, right? People have been saying he‘s a trump supporter but he literally said he didn‘t even vote in 2016. He‘s married to Gwen Stefani and they seem to be really in love, I would think knowing what Gwen stands for, it would give Gwen more than the ick to be around someone who‘s not inclusive. Kelly and Blake have been (best) friends for many many years and Kelly has literally been so supportive of the community privately and publicly since the beginning. Having followed her for years, she really does not seem like the kind of person who tolerates any kind of hate around her. She even said once that Blake has to be careful cause people are gonna believe he‘s an asshole after all his joke when he really isn‘t. Not to mention that Sasha literally said he is a „huge“ fan of Blake?! I‘m really questioning where people get these infos but if you know, please enlighten me.
So in episode 3 Walter spoke to Sonya in the Human Resources office about how Blake made banana pancakes for Gwen as B.A.N.A.N.A.S is a lyric from her song ‘Hollerback girl’ so would Walter be Blake Shelton’s love bug?
