Hi Everyone! I'm a University Student from Texas. I'm currently taking a Sport Facility Management class. My final project is to create a mock Olympic bid for the 2036 Summer Games , my group and I chose Toronto. I recognize that the idea of Toronto, or any other city in Canada, hosting an Olympic Games is a little controversial ( I.E. The Calgary Referendum voting against the 2026 Winter Olympic Bid). Now for all the potential upside Toronto has I've found one glaring issue that has frustrated me. The question of where to host track and field events/ opening ceremony, I don't see a viable option that is currently open. Forcing my group and I to build an imaginary stadium somewhere in the City. Now my immediate thought at first glance was to put it somewhere on the Toronto Islands, thinking that Billy Bishop was a dilapidated airport that could be torn down and the land used to build this stadium. I soon found 'out how wrong I was and I'm sorry for my terrible assumption. So my question to y'all is. If you had to build a 60,000 person stadium on roughly 50 acres ( preferably close to Toronto City Proper) where would you build it? I realize I am asking a lot but I'm hoping y'all can steer me in the right direction thank y'all so much in advance and I hope to be back on here one day asking about where I should go when I Visit.
( I'm sorry for all the grammatical errors, I went to Texas Public School)

Hello. The Live at Rome Olympic Stadium is, without any hesitation, my favorite Plug in Baby live performance. I've been searching a long time to find tabs of it, but they were incomplete and without any time indication, I wanted a real score. So i made this one, i spent 2 full days on it, and i can tell you that's 99% accurate. I made it with Guitar Pro 7, and exported it in PDF, here are both links of downloading :
There's the riff variation at the beginning, the little melody in the chorus, the second verse's variation, the outro, and more. I also put the indication on where you have to use the whammy (and its setting). Please share this, I really think that will make a lot of people happy to know there's finally a full tabbed version :)
EDIT : Thanks to u/vfx_Mike and u/Soul_Phoenix_42 the tabs are now absolutely perfect. If any mistake is still here, don't be shy to tell me ! :p
EDIT 2 : I just remarked that there was something different in the riff so I modified it :)
Went back and watched the May 2018 โThe verdict on West Ham Unitedโs controversial move to London Stadiumโ video from BBC Sport with fresh eyes.
Mostly negative responses from fans saying weโre not getting immediate results from the move (and we werenโt obviously) and bashing the โtop six in five yearsโ comment.
Honest question seeing how things are going now: were we wrong?
Ok, i dont think this will be an easy one, but if someone is able to find the scene, I will be impressed.
I remember (more or less) a few things:
- I think it was cartoon network or nickelodeon....but probably cartoon network.
- The scene felt very stressful when i was a young boy
- I dont remember anything about the main character
- In this scene, the character was ... outside a stadium where there were Olympic games (maybe?)
- In this scene (I think) there were statues of gods and then there was a giant speaker in the middle of nowhere (in the middle of the street or of a parking lot outside the stadium) playing very loud music..some kind of heavenly music. I think the statues were judging the character or something.
- I think it was a night scene...or at least there was a lot of dark blue in it.
The music of the speakers reminds me of the following song, minute 4:05 to 4:14.

- I am not sure if it was from the 80' or the 90' i was young hahaha. I remember there was not a lot of dialogue...it was just sound effects and music...i think.
Sorry for the vague help...but i need to find this scene! I will try to remember anything else that might help!
Thank you guys!
Watching footage of old Olympics made me remember that the finish line of the 20/50 km walk and the marathon used to be inside the Olympic stadium. Runners had to enter the stadium and do a lap in order to reach the finish line.
It was such a dignified way of ending these events, that I wonder why is it not like this anymore. It's not because of COVID, since both London and Rio also had anticlimactic finish lines in the middle of the street.
