A list of puns related to "Apex predator"
Just read a recent story from Missouri where an owl swooped down and carried away a familyβs dachshund for almost a mile before dropping it. The dog survived.
Why YSK: Itβs imperative that all of us keep a watchful eye on our pets when they are outside, especially if you live in areas that are shared with or in close proximity to habitats that are home to these types of predators.
The Chrono Archaeologists were flitting through the timeline. They were cataloging and filing intrinsic data, as 5th dimensional beings with that sort of job do.
"I still don't understand, Designation 1a; you say these Humans from.. Dirt, was it? oh- Earth. Right. Big difference there. Anyway- you were saying they became the dominant apex predator on their world??"
"Indeed, Designation 22c. They became the dominant species, and in very short order attained sentience, technology, and spaceflight out into the Galaxy. See? Here, here and there."
22c was appalled at the short span of time that Humanity 'took over' the world. Their timeline was indeed compressed. Suspiciously so. To have developed writing, to space flight; in a mere 6000 or so of their years- part of that including a technological Dark Age- was... alarming. But, flitting forward in time, their growth outward and eventual demise were typical of other species that attained a Galactic presence. Something still bothered 22c though.
"But I mean- Look at them! When I compare them to Bears, Lions, Tigers-"
"oh, my!" 1a interrupted with a smile.
"eh? - and Sharks, and Rhinoceros, and Elephant, Megatherium, Heck, even the Moa.. When you look at those other apex predators and mega herbivores, the Humans stand out- they have.. well nothing to speak of when compared with those others. Nothing at all!"
1a smiled. "I knew you would come to this at some point- it was only a matter of 6th dimensional axiality. " It said, describing the concept a 5th dimensional being would call their own 'time'. "I saved a bookmark of a particular event, that should explain it for you. Go here to this time, in Early Human development, and enjoy!"
-------------------
The primitive Human family pack was living in a cave in northern Europe. There was a fire at the mouth of the cave, and several animal skins were drying on a rack by the opening. The Father of the unit was out hunting, and the Grandmother was foraging for nuts and berries. Only the Mother and the 2 children were at the Cave, when the Bear showed up, following its nose to the cooking meat, and the easy prey it smelled living there. It was a hard winter, the Bear was weak and starving, and was also looking for shelter from the cold. This group of Humans was doomed.
As the Bear entered the clearing, the Mother screeched in alarm. The screech echoed off of the distant valley cliffs, it was so loud. The Bear was not troubled as it loped in for the kill..

I see a lot of guys on here asking questions about getting better at the game, and I wanna put my two cents into this.
Background: Iβve been a pred player 4 times. Not insanely hard to do, but it takes time. Also if I dropped my UN Iβd be outed on Reddit and I donβt want Army dudes to know who I am (Iβm active duty US Army lol)
What my squad (two preds and a master ranked currently) does is sit on a routine to grind. We log on around 6pm after all of us get off work, and spent time with the family and etc. We hit the firing range and run a practice drill to warm up for about 15 mins. Then we go on Arenas ranked and play a few games to really get in the zone. After a few wins and losses, we hop on BR.
We win about 5-8 games out of 10-15 a night. Most of the time we come top 10 with 3-6 kills a game per person. At most we get 8-10 a person which is pretty rare. And we all have around 9-12k hours put in the game.
Now for the tips:
So for starters, find a decent squad with microphones and headsets, decent communication, and have the time to play and can work around a schedule.
Hit the firing range and dual each other and work on that aim, if your using a controller for the love of God almighty use that ALC settings. And tweak it as you see fit. For mnk players, find a decent mouse, and a ergonomic keyboard and take 5 minute breaks to stretch those fingers. Tweak your settings that fits you. Thereβs no setting that is magic for all.
Work on tracking, adjusting fire, incorporating reload time, and figure out a good balance with the equipment you use. Use aim lab, and use it a lot.
You can however have a shitty aim and still kill shit. Yeah I said it.
Game senseβ¦ learn how to be aware in game. Study the maps and learn all the nooks and crannies that you can hide out in, heal up at, and listen for enemies. Know where the ring is going at all times and wait til at the least 15 seconds to leave to the next ring or youβre fucked. The last thing you wanna do is have some random shit tier octane teammate looting in the ring and gets wiped by a squad cause heβs an idiot. Donβt be that guy.
Know where the enemies are at and what they are looking at/ what legend they are using/what guns they are using. If you see a wraith with a pk, donβt push, she might portal kidnap your ass and slap you in the face for 90 damage and knock you right on your ass. When you shoot them, aim with your body not your joystick/mouse. I know it sounds dumb but it works really good f

Luthor devised a plan to capture Martian Manhunter to fuse with him and gain his power, transforming into an Apex Predator. An Apex Predator is the epitome of evolution, with many martian based superpowers. Unfortunately for Luthor, Perpetua took away his powers, turning him back into the mortal Lex Luthor.
Feats in italics take place 3 days in the future, in a precognitive vision by Starman, who used the power of Hypertime to see the future^(JL #30). Feats marked in bold are before the God of the Multiverse Perpetua gave Lex the power of all the seven dark forces.^(JL #36)
Cause that's exactly what happened and at some point the line between krab hunter and krab hater blurred and rather than listening to the people who appreciate the ecosystem that supports rich hunting grounds, CCP started listening to the people who hated that krabs made ISK with their game time doing the boring shit the krab hunters didn't want to.
I've been playing for over 11 years and I've noticed the vitriol take on an earnest contempt rather than just playful banter. Some people started believing their own bullshit that krabs had it too easy. The loud minority that cried relentlessly about krabs making easy ISK got someone to believe in their bullshit as much as they do themselves and now the feeding grounds of the krab have been decimated and the dwindling krab population means desolate hunting grounds for the krab hunter... but the krab hater is in heaven right now with these changes cause they never really cared about the game as a whole, just getting their way.
In "Genesis Ultimatum", the flavor text reads "No human eyes have ever witnessed the birth of an apex monster," with the art depicting a a beautiful blue beam into the sky enveloped with a spiral. How exactly are these monsters born? Does it have something to do with the fact that there's one for each triome (although this is probably just game design)?
