A list of puns related to "Alcor Life Extension Foundation"
Hello everyone. I am a current member of Alcor...signed up for a a Neurosuspension. I love Alcor. But I'm considering switching to CI because I'm not sure if I will be able to afford the minimum costs 30 to 40 years from now (if I live that long).
What does everyone predict will be the minimum costs for a Neurosuspension 30 to 40 years from now? Thanks in advance for any feedback.
How much does Alcor Life Extension Foundation charge to have medical professionals trained to implement head/brain and/or whole body cryopreservation?
What organizations offer training for implementing cryonics?
"An anonymous donor has offered to match up to $1 million in donations to my foundation, Saisei Foundation, and the deadline is 5 p.m. PST tomorrow, Wed., December 22nd. Your donations will support the foundationβs ambitious plansβfunding cutting-edge scientific research and other bold, high-leverage bets (life-extension studies, etc.)βand Iβd love for you to be a part of it. In other words, if you all donate $100K, $200K, $500K, $1M, or anywhere in between by that deadline, they will match and donate at least that much. Click here to donate and learn more about what Saisei Foundation is doing and what weβll do with the funds."

I'm not sure how much of a focus there is on supporting life extension studies but he says it's part of the mission.
Hari Seldon might have figured it out.
Slip into a clone of yourself while it is a young child or after it has reached a certain age. An Age to Your liking. And you have achieved legitimate life extension. You can see a man examining a test-tube baby in the trailer, likely his clone.
That is one standing premise of Isaac Asimov's Foundation.

The other harder revealed premise, is that Hari Seldon may actually be from Earth - though he is using the pseudonym of a made up once purely fictional world called Helicon to mask this fact. He is also, if true - likely using long standing foundational breakthroughs discovered on Earth to make his own scientific progress.
The most advanced civilization likely already had these technologies or superior technologies - did they somehow help Hari Seldon achieve his own breakthroughs? Did they intend to help Hari Seldon spread his own message about this catastrophe?
Would he even know if they facilitated his breakthroughs?
Or is this merely his clone? Did he actually in fact unite after leaving his home planet.. with the most advanced civilization all along? In a Universe of Clones, Hari Seldon could actually in fact be anyone.
And the most advanced civilization is still largely a mystery.
Isaac Asimov's Foundation is a story about the Milky Way and the several hospitable planets within this galaxy, some extremely technologically advanced while some are completely slave planets.
And Hari Seldon seems like the man on top of it all, to some at least.
On some planets, People walk around freely, invoking the powers of their inner A.I. (they seem as capable as A.I. for many tasks at least), on other planets - people roam around fully regressed with harsh (and often boring) overtones of slavery.
And Hari Seldon surely figured out a large piece of the puzzle needed in his Psychohistory achievement (predicting the future). Which is
