In the quest to knowing about the heroes, I bring to you Cheng Yuanzhi a chief commander in the Yellow Scarves during the rebel’s first uprising in AD 184.🎅

When the Yellow Scarves rebellion began in the first year of Central Stability, AD 184, Zhang Jiao, leader of the Scarves and self-titled General of Heaven, ordered Cheng Yuanzhi to take over 🦹‍♀️ Youzhou district with a command of fifty thousand men. Yuanzhi marched upon Youzhou immediately and, upon reaching the district, was met by a force five hundred strong commanded by Commandant Zou Jing and a host of volunteer leaders. Cheng Yuanzhi quickly led his superior force on and, once both sides were within shouting distance of one another, Liu Bei,👯 a volunteer commander for the Han, raised his whip and cried out, “Traitors to the Emperor, surrender now!”

Being enraged by the commander’s comment, Cheng Yuanzhi sent his own subordinate commander, Deng Mao, into the field, but an enemy general named Zhang Fei met him and swiftly cut him down. Seeing Deng Mao tumble dead from his horse, Yuanzhi urged his own mount forward and charged Zhang Fei, but before he could reach the fearsome general, another commander named Guan Yu charged out and sliced Yuanzhi in two without giving him chance to defend himself.🦞

Ravyn requested one final shopping day through Shulan before we made our way back to the Port of Meow. It wasn’t like I had the money to keep shopping, and according to her, even the closest mobs around Shulan would “wreck my shit.” I had no reason to doubt her advice by this point, so window shopping it was.

Keke and Cannoli remained close to me, hovering on either side like my personal entourage. Usually, I wouldn’t mind the attention, but the looks they exchanged made me uncomfortable. They were best friends, and I wasn’t about to be the one to get in between them.

Though, sandwiched between them doesn’t sound like such a bad idea. Keke’s soft skin and the curve of her hips were still top of mind. Picturing Cannoli in a similar situation was a very close second. I felt the heat return to my skin and shook my head. Come on, man. Snap out of it.

“Ravyn? Ravyn!” a girl with teal-blue hair pushed through the morning crowds, her breathing rasped. “Thank the Goddess you’re here.” She clapped one hand on Ravyn’s shoulder, eyes flickering to us. “You’ve a group with you? Wonderful. We need you. Now.”

“Maya? Way to greet a friend.” Ravyn smiled and patted her hand. “What’s wrong?”

“There’s… There’s a Defiled outside the gates,” Maya panted.

Ravyn barked a laugh. “Aren’t the invincible Cailu and his merry gang of misfits still here? Have him take care of it.”

Maya vehemently shook her head. “He’s not enough.”

Unease gnawed at the back of my mind. Not enough? If that bastard and his assassin aren’t enough, what the hell can we do to help?

Ravyn glanced over her shoulder at Keke, Cannoli, and me, then echoed my thoughts aloud. “Maya, he has to be enough. These guys aren’t cut out for the big stuff yet. They’re low level, and their gear is trash.”

Ouch. She wasn’t wrong, though. My hat and I could take on little more than a rough breeze. Hell, Ball Gag was probably more stable than I was.

“Please, you have to try.” Maya retracted her arm and clasped her hands. “If you don’t…” The look she gave Ravyn was desperate and solemn. Visible tears brimmed in the corner of her eyes, and her lips pulled into a grim line. It was a look that said a lot of people were about to die.

Ravyn sighed and turned to us. “You heard her. What do you want to do?”

“She’s right. We have to try.” I shook my head. “I’m in if you guys are.”

Keke nodded. “Let’s at least assess the situation. Then we can decide.”

Cannoli shifted from one ball of her foot to the other. “M-m

I am not completely satisfied with the powdered herbs I have access to. But I do have access to excellent quality raw medicinals. I would like something that can grind raw herbs so that I can use the quality medicinals rather than the pre-made powders.

This is arguably the most quiet first debut song release ever. iQiyi didn’t even bother promoting them. Literally just dropped the EP announcement 3 days prior to release. Literally one re-used cover over and over. A short snippet of the song of just the cover 2 days prior to release. And the promo photos on the day of the release. No debut showcase either.

The members themselves aren’t even posting anything, they didn’t even repost their album announcement.

Yeah I’m so sorry, iQiyi really is the worst I pity IXFORM. I read that there is one MV coming up (Hype it up since this might be the last MV, THE9 literally only has 1 MV out after 3 albums and 1.5 years, only 1 dance practice video too the rest you have to wait for a stage to see them perform the song)

Sooooooo what do I think of the songs?

DISCLAIMER: I’m saying this from a non-fan perspective. I don’t hardcore stan IXFORM. I just joined in a little because I got curious as to what IXFORM is gonna release. So I decided to post some of the stuff here for you guys who are having a hard time using Chinese SNS after this I’m probably leaving the sub

I think the songs were better than I initially expected, I was kinda curious because IXFORM though you do have vocalists and members who can be vocalists most of the members are mostly known as dancers and rappers. So I got curious as to how they’ll sound like.

I personally like So Hot more than Bet. I like the groove of So Hot. I kinda found Bet to be a bit messy in the beginning but I liked it when it reached the chorus and the bridge.

Luo Yizhou gave me a lot of his Domesticator type vibes in Bet and a bit of Stop Sugar in So Hot

For Jojo, same with Yizhou Domesticator vibes in Bet and Stop Sugar in So Hot

Lian Huaiwei, an in between this is kinda like the first time I hear him sounding like this. Though personally I feel like he sounds better in tones like the one in Cinderella. But I do like his voice at a part in So Hot

Liu Guanyou, I liked him in YWY3, they definitely made him carry most of the high notes here. I feel like in Bet his voice wasn’t well utilized
