A list of puns related to "Windchime"
good morning and happy Christmas Eve to you all. I have an etiquette question to do with the impending storm. my neighbor has lovely wind chimes up (multiples) and they have been bang-agongin' all night. I'm anticipating a cacophony when the real storms run through. she is away - can I take the most offending one (that high tinkling nails-on-chalkboard-but-GAWD-is-it-loud chime) down and then put it back up after the winds have moved on? I'm not wanting to be an asshole here, I just don't want to hear that piercing noise endlessly through the holiday. yes, get my stepstool out and take it down? or nay, this would be trespassing and so just bite the bullet? thanks for any advice. by the way, my neighbor and I are friendly but they are new to town so I don't know well. thanks. stay safe.
We just moved into our new home three months ago and haven't spoken to any neighbors - just a casual wave here and there. The house nextdoor has this huge cowbell-like windchime on the side of their house, very close to my office window. It's driving me insane.
What's the best way to ask them to move it or take it down without seeming like That Guy? I don't want them to think we are jerks right off the bat!
Pops is wanting a wind chime with a very deep sound. I'm wondering if there's any spots in or around Sacramento that you guys might know of. Thanks for the help.
You could be literally out in the middle of nowhere and you hear chimes.
Not that I have anything against chimes, I'm just wondering where all those hidden chimes are at.
No, it's not from the background music, sometimes you can be at a building and hear chimes, yet when you look, there's no chimes.
Note: The Cardinal wind chimes do not chime.
They only chime when you build them, but after that, they do not chime.
the lyrics right before the windchimes go something like "i get down get up again" then theres windchimes/a xylophone, ive been looking for this song for like 2 years at this point pls help
I've been having issues with a very bored Neighbor, long story short I live in close knit Townhomes and my neighbor took it upon himself to place 3 Windchimes in between our home where no one can see them, under my bedroom window. I only have one window and my air conditioner is in it even with the air conditioner on high as white noise I can still hear them!
I need any help I can get because I'm going crazy!!
Iβm looking to use some scraps that have been laying around the shop to make some windchimes for Christmas presents. Iβve got a good set of forstner bits and a jacobs chuck.
Are there any kind of shaft extensions for forstner bits to extend them approximately 12 inches so I can make the tubes for the windchimes?
If Iβm going about this the wrong way, please let me know what/how you would recommend.
Thanks!
I love how the second movement is basically an evolving motif up until surfβs up hits, made even more climactic by the fact that it leads right back into Child is Father of the Man. It would have also been cool if he had decided to throw some won-won-wonderfuls into that reprise, or even some βchild-child-childsβ somewhere into Wonderful. I know the song wasnβt made during the SMiLE sessions, but I always felt like certain sections of Canβt Wait Too Long sound like a mixture of Windchimes (the obvious baseline) and Child is Father of the Manβs guitar riffs. Iβd have liked to see him continue that evolution from side 2 by starting off side 3 with Canβt Wait Too Longβs guitar section, eventually moving into Windchimes. I know the song wasnβt made during the smile sessions, but it wouldβve been the perfect segue between Surfβs Up and Windchimes, change my mind. Try singing βCanβt Wait Too Longβ over the CiFotM reprise.
