A list of puns related to "Wilsonian"
Afghanistan is arguably the biggest attempt at nation building the US has made in decades and was inarguably a failure. Regardless of the factors the led to this result, does it indicate that neo-imperialism is not a winning strategy the way it was during the cold war?
P.S. Sorry if it's the second time, it's a monthly thing and the scores have shifted decisively, and I'm not violating rule 5 here, I think.

Basically what does the world look like if the ideals in the linked article were rejected as US foreign policy?

I am currently looking for someone to transfer my lease to. I live in the Wilsonian Building on the fifth floor with a great view of the Ave and super close to campus. The apartment is an efficiency plus and the total rent is usually just shy of 1300 with utilities. If anyone is looking for a place, I need to transfer the lease ASAP.
PM if you're interested. Please don't hesitate to contact me! Stay healthy everyone.

Has Wilsonian foreign policy ever succeeded in creating a functioning and healthy democratic state?
My fictional land of Wilsonia has their own religion, and these are the current gods they worship so far.
Before we begin, note that the Wilsonian deities are considered genderless and they are referred to with βItβ, which is always capitalised.

As far as I understand, they are very similar, but have some divergence and those are what I want to get a clearer picture of.
Both are idealist strands that argue that actively spreading democracy and liberty is an important task for US foreign policy, both are stressing American Exceptionalism and an international order primarily based on collective security.
I'd argue that Wilsonians tend to rely more on cooperation in international institutions, while Neocons tend to favor unilateral decisions. Would you agree? What else comes to your mind? And is there any reading material on this distinction you know of?
I'm also having a bit of a hard time finding contemporary Wilsonian authors. Who is there to look out for? (Max Boot sees himself as a Wilsonian, but others mostly describe him as a Neocon. Also I couldn't find conclusive literature concerning the classification of Robert Keohane or Michael Ignatieff.)
