A list of puns related to "Wheatgrass"
Hi, I was wondering whether anyone in this community has experience with using wheatgrass powder to regulate their menstrual cycle after d&c? Also, has anyone used Red Raspberry tea for itβs purported benefits during pregnancy? Iβve come across just as many articles that say each of these supplements are bogus as those that say they do wonders for fertility. Which is it then? Thank you and take good care πβπ½
I am overjoyed to say that my boys love it. So my question is, does the grass that they eat count nutritionally at all? As in, would it replace some of the usual leafy greens/produce?
BTW, FTR, if any of you are thinking of growing a digging box, I can tell you the wheatgrass box was so easy. I did it in a deep container, with a grow light, and within maybe 2 weeks I had a nice crop. Right in my studio apartment!
Iv been trying to move towards a healthier plant based life style for some time. Having wheat grass in the house really helps me a lot. But I rarely have access to it because 90% of what I grow gets a fine white and black stringy (like a spiders web) Mold growing all along the roots leading towards the green/grass part of the plant itself. Iv tried growing on plates, in a planter, in a sprouter with holes in the bottom and many other ways. Iv tried changing heat ranges (I tend to keep my house cold) and iv tried changing how thick I layer the wheat grass berries. Iv tried so so many solutions yet 90% of every wheat grass I start ends up with that nasty white and black mold growing on it and I toss it out. My sprouts outside Alfalfa end up the same the majority of the time. For some reason Aflafa is the only sprout I can grow for more than 2-3 days without mold.
Does anyone have tips for what I may be doing wrong or general tips for growing wheat grass in a cold environment? Im happy to buy a sprouter or dedicate a room to help my wheat grass and sprouts finally start turning out. I really just cant seem to freaking figure out why my sprouts and wheat grass molds so fast and reliably!
Hi everyone! I just bought a Hamama microgreens kit and started to grow Wheatgrass! Online it says it's safe for rabbits but does anyone have any experience with this?
My cockatiel, Lafayette, loves munching on freshly grown wheatgrass. Problem is, I was recently diagnosed with celiac disease and my doctor recommends not having it in the house. What are some healthy alternative grasses for my cockatiel to graze on?
Trying to grow some wheatgrass at home. Watched some videos on youtube from random recommendations and thought of growing some wheatgrass.
So far, very little success with sprouting them.
Questions:
1; What type of wheat do you use? I found 2 types, 1 for human eating and other is for various livestock, the latter one looked old and some of them were broken/damaged, nevertheless found minor success with them growing 4 grass (I know) + 1 surprise. as for the human edible one (as described by the shop owner), 0 sprouts grew when I tried the same methods used on the livestock feeds. Maybe they are sterilised before being sold?
2; What method do you use to germinate wheatgrass?
3; Do u plant them on the soil or just grow them hydroponically? which one tastes better?
4; Is the weather a problem for seeds sprouting?
And any other tips that might help, currently I think the problem is with the wheat, so any tips on how to find good quality Wheat. And what type to look for specifically.
I let them supervised time outside, and they seem to like chewing/munching on random grasses. i am afraid they'd just randomly chew toxic plant or just those that aren't good for them. should I just buy a wheat grass and put it inside? can they cause problems and make my cats puke?
Our bodies intertwined,
on an earthen bed.
The hard ground softened
in the place we lay our heads.
We formed a wheatgrass angel,
in the farmerβs field next door.
With gasps and inhalations,
I rolled over youβa storm.
The clouds above us staring,
blushed a reproachful red.
I laughed at their judgement.
I grinned at them and said,
Keep your remorse,
your humility, your shame.
The whole world could be watchingβ
Iβd still do it all the same.

Hey everyone,
We have been trying to conceive with IUI for a while now. It has worked once but turned out to be a miscarriage.
I have been going to the gym ever since and worked with a personal trainer so my body will be in better shape for a baby.
Now, my trainer is not a nutritionalist, so i have been following a diet my doctor prescribed. I do have a lot of muscle pains and inflammation in my muscles from being sedetary for years and years and now working out. Even though my workouts are easy and not heavy at all, i still get the pains.
So i've been adding a powder of matcha, spirulina and wheatgrass to my protein shakes in the morning and it helps a whole lot.
But another IUI has come and failed and i asked my doctor if the powder has anything to do with it and she said she had no idea.
So does anyone here?
Google has not been my friend, i have found a whole lot of answers that say the exact opposite of each other.
Hoping someone in the sub knows anything about this or has some experience.

I've only just got this kit Wheatgrass Growing Kit - Complete | Everything You Need! (australianwheatgrass.com.au) - they suggest:
Some questions:
Thanks!
I've grown it before but I didn't know how it's supposed to be done. I just threw a bunch of seeds in a pot and let it grow. It's look nice when it first sprouts fully but after a few weeks it just dies out. Is that how it's supposed to work? It just dies out? It's not like lawn grass that just constantly regrows? Am I supposed to spread out the seeds or completely carpet a layer of soil?
After chewing and ingesting the juice, my body says hell no. And I'm currently dealing with the fatigue, brain fog and suicidal thoughts I get when being glutened. I did some research and apparently wheatgrass (not including the seed) Is "gluten free". So what is everyone who claims wheatgrass is gluten free wrong? Kind of. Wheatgrass develops its proteins around the 17 day mark so to have gluten free wheatgrass you would need to cut and juice at around 11 days or before according to a website on google. I have yet to test it bit I think it's true.
