I didn't know Lithuania existed until 1990 age 12. The anti Soviet protests made the TV here. Since then I've read about the war, forest brothers, the PLC (thanks EUIV).

Somehow I managed to sample a Lithuanian beer in NZ and a friend found a different brand and tried that. I tried Volfas iirc had a gold foil on it. Pretty good for a macro type beer.
NZ is pretty but "old Europe" architecture doesn't really exist here oldside some Victorian type buildings.
Covid interrupt my planned Moldova/Ukraine/Baltic states and St Petersburg trip.
I decided to be spontaneous and bought a ticket to Vilnius and the flight leaves in two days. I have nothing to hurry and nothing else to do in my country, and it's time to take the opportunity to fly before it's too late.
I'm 30M and the last thing that interests me is shopping. I love history, beautiful and ancient places or extraordinary landscapes. What do you recommend?
