My colleague resigned, urdu text is poetry which reads as "death is far better than that money, which slows you down from your life purpose" it's a beautiful poetry and I'm terrible at translating it. It's a best resign I ever read.

English speaker no Urdu knowledge
I would like to learn Urdu for my boyfriend and to impress his family. I like the Duolingo app but they only have Hindi. What is the best way to learn Urdu (I am also on a budget so preferably free?).
Is learning Hindi good enough to speak with my boyfriendโs family? Or would there be too many differences? I specifically would really like to learn Urdu.

I was rewatching the MCU movies and I noticed Pakistan is negatively referenced or depicted in Iron Man 2, Iron Man 3 (twice), and Capt America Civil War. Also the Iron Man 1 villains spoke Urdu. What's up with that?
Edit: I meant Captain America The Winter Soldier, not Civil War.
