[REQUEST][WWW] University of Portsmouth Gaming Society Livestream Charity Event this weekend

Hello fellow redditors.

My name is Kerrie Oak and I am the president of the University of Portsmouth Gaming Society. This weekend we are putting aside our studies to livestream a 24 hour gaming marathon where we will be playing GTA IV. All the money raised will be going to Child's Play!

The chat will be open on our Twitch channel for people to give us suggestions on what to do. If you want to watch the livestream it will be live from 12pm GMT on March 9th until 12pm GMT March 10th (which can be found here).

If you don't want to watch the livestream but are still feeling charitable then please donate via our link to help us reach our target. It's a small target, but we're only a small society and I hope you can help us achieve this to help sick children in need.

Many thanks, Kerrie

Starting at portsmouth university in september and have some questions.

First thing is how good is the university, my other options rejected me because of how late it is into the year or asked me to do a foundation year whereas Portsmouth accepted me for a 3 year? It also seems to be one of the few universities where men outnumber women is there a reason for that?

Second question is I have searched a bit and it seems Portsmouth has a bit of a reputation for being a rough area and I was wondering how true this is? I've lived in a small town all my life and really dislike going into London (London is the only city I've visited more than once so I don't know if its cities or London in general). Does Portsmouth have the big rush and all the noise that London has?

Third is I'm a massive introvert. I haven't had the best life and its left me less than trusting of people I don't know and makes people who meet me comment on how quiet I am. How easy is it to get on with people there and is there any unspoken rules relevant to the area that I should know as I'm not the best at social cues?

Fourth is I only accepted the offer recently and haven't sorted out accommodation or finance yet (getting straight on it Monday), what's the chances that there are rooms in the halls left?

Other than that I guess I want to know what are you honest thoughts on the area?

My former U23 coach Phil Skyes (starts off at Portsmouth) had one of the best careers I've seen from any AI staff that doesn't start as an elite level manager

Manager attributes from a couple of years ago

This guy was a quality coach when I brang him in and, as they often do, he eventually went off to manage someone himself. I track these guys on my saves and nine times out of ten they are retired a few years later but he really did better than pretty much anyone. What I love about his career most is how realistic the arc was because often I find the AI just move around constantly.

Started off at League One Notts County who were a mid-table side and after a decent start got the chance to jump up to Sunderland after only six months. Sunderland hadn't been back in the PL since the start of the save at this point and had finished the previous season 11th in their first season back in the Championship for a couple of years. He got them into the playoffs in his first half a season only to get smashed in the semis, then took them back to the playoffs and got promoted the season after. In their first season back in the PL they only get 24 points and went straight back down but he stuck with them. Another playoff defeat the next season is followed by another playoff success but then they get relegated again. Back down in the Championship he wins them the division and you can't blame him for leaving after that. Goes to Forest, PL regulars at this point and gets them a couple of mid table finishes.

Sunderland yo-yoing under Sykes

At this point he's the best English manager other than myself and gets the national team job, does alright but not spectacular. A QF and 2nd round defeat end up with him resigning after one international cycle. Pretty standard stuff so far and at this point I'm thinking he might replace big John Kennedy when he retires from being my ass man or I'm worried he might retire.

Next thing I know he's got the job at Napoli who just finished 4th in Serie A, their worst finish for a while, but are typically seen as the second biggest team in Italy behind a dominant Inter who had won 26 out of the last 27 titles. He gets them straight back into second place and then wins them back to back titles. At this point he's looking a bit special but after a third place finish he decides to move on. Wolfsburg are a massive step up from Napoli, by com
