A list of puns related to "The Tenth Planet"
Here are my impressions:
It was a great environment. Everyone is super friendly, lots of happy kids running around, lots of women on the mats, good music, kombucha on tap, etc.
They were all they same. It felt like they used a limited number of techniques, and they all used the same ones. I am used to a variety of styles and more creativity across opponents typically.
Their game had so many holes positionally. No one could do any sort of pass that didn't involve sprinting around you in a tight circle and then cartwheeling over. No one exerted pressure on top. They were slow to escape side control and mount. They were easier to pass, and easier top surf on that I would have expected. They only position they felt decent at escaping was back.
They had good submissions, and a lot of awareness around how to defend them. I don't think I hit my darce/guillotines once. However this game was unevenly developed as well (IE comfortable with heel hooks while very unfamiliar with kneebars).
They were loose, scrambly, and opportunistic, but didn't have the tightness nor pressure to capitalize on an advantageous opportunity.
In all, this experience made me very grateful for my time spent training in the gi, and many years drilling the basics of positional dominance. I feel like the traditional BJJ wisdom of lots of gi training, emphasis on positional dominance, and endless drilling of basics gives a better foundation to improvise off of and be creative with at later belts, and also ensures a minimum competency with or without the gi.
TDLR: Great environment, bad basics, great submissions, homogeneous stylistically.
From this article:
>Although racing the world's fastest cars at race tracks all over the planet makes F1 an obvious target when it comes to environmental issues, in fact the races themselves are a minor part of the sport's total emissions.
>
>Of the 256,551 tonnes of carbon that F1 calculated it emitted as a sport in 2018, only 0.7% was from the cars themselves.
>
>By far the largest proportions were from logistics, in terms of road, air and sea freight, at 45%, and personnel travel at 27.7%.
>
>But these are issues that affect all major global sports: a football World Cup or an Olympics, while not as obvious a target, also has a significant environmental impact.
>
>The carbon footprint of the 2010 Fifa World Cup, for example, was calculated at 2.8m tonnes - or 10 years' worth of F1 seasons.

I research a lot of true crime and unsolved mysteries, and Stevenβs case is baffling. Despite all the speculation, there's no way to really know why he was in Henderson, NV that Sunday morning. Being that he was a devout Mormon, I frankly find it surprising that he wasn't in church that day. There's also no way of knowing why he took a 1,000+ mile road trip in the preceding days without telling anyone. I don't believe he randomly drove around Utah and Nevada just to relieve depression or to gather his thoughts; I think there was a reason for his travels, but what was this reason?
By putting all the facts and safe assumptions surrounding the events leading up to Steven's disappearance together, four possible scenarios come to mind:
The first scenario is the most likely one in my opinion. I think he went to that community to meet somebody and something bad happened. The second scenario, while not impossible, doesn't seem to be too likely. Steven was experiencing severe financial difficulties. He was in no position to start a new life. Even if he was able to do it, it would be very difficult for someone of his character to suddenly walk away from his family and church. Scenario 3 doesn't seem to be very plausible either, as suicide is against the Mormon faith and the location where he parked his car just doesn't fit. Also, it's important to keep in mind that his family loved and supported him, making suicide less likely despite poor financial circumstances and mental health. Now I think the fourth scenario is quite plausible. Tying into the first scenario, Steven could have met someone in that community and had some sort of accident while working with or otherwise interacting with this person. The work could have been under-the-table and sketchy (though not necessarily illegal), but with the promise of quick cash, Steven may have accepted such work out of sheer necessity. Or, perhaps this person was a sugar daddy, and something went awry during a sexual act at some point that day. Sure, homosexual se
