A list of puns related to "The Blackstone Group"
I stayed at the Marriott Courtyard Fort Worth Downtown / Blackstone last weekend for a wedding. I had no clue what I was walking into, so here's a heads up for everyone else.
My relatives reserved a block at the hotel months ago for wedding guests and a place for the bridal party to get ready. My booking process was completely normal until a week ago, when I get this nugget in a generic "your upcoming stay" email from assistant manager William Logan. Keep in mind this is a couple days before the first guests check in:
This week, we have begun work to prepare our lobby for a renovation. This will be a fantastic upgrade for the property, with many exciting features. There will be noise associated with the removal of tile and other fixtures β this work will be confined to the hours of 9 am to 5 pm daily. There will be no interruption of guest services at the front desk.
I don't mind a little noise in the lobby, so no big deal right? Well, it seems William errs on the side of understatement. The entire lobby floor was destroyed, people were tripping all over the floor and nasty carpet strips they taped together for a walkway, dust was all over everything. And that was just the lobby.
The construction isn't just in the lobby, there are crews working on multiple floors 7 days a week. I was on the 4th floor and couldn't hold a normal volume conversation in my room when the power tools were revved up, which was on and off every day I was there. The elevators are set up for protection from the workers and are absolutely filthy - floor and walls covered in old carpet and padding. Tons of worker traffic in the hallways, elevators and common bathrooms.
So overall, this place is a huge mess. My relatives can't believe the hotel didn't warn them about a major renovation during the months they had the place reserved. I'm getting nowhere with a refund for my room - the same assistant manager that emailed me, Logan Williams, is basically saying "our bad, but we don't refund".
So there's your heads up!
Did Abaddon & Co. managed to keep it hidden from the Cadians long enough until it was too late? Or could they see the fortress slowly becoming bigger and bigger days or even weeks ahead, Majoraβs Mask style?
I like to think it was like Majoraβs Mask
Long story short I pen rouletted and came back now and I have a good amount of hards and sharps thanks to event but my black stone supply is very low... I been buying weapon stones but they r so expensive right now and I am consistently popping +15 reblath weapons on 10-16... cant seem to build a 20 stack to save my life.... I only buy 100 at a time cause there almost 25mill per 100. I wanna try and build my gear back up but cant seem to build failstacks and it's just to expensive to keep buying them.
I tried cadrys and ghaz but because my weight and inventory are low I just cant keep up with the rosar weapons.. and it takes to long out of my loot scroll to keep trying to feed them to my fairy and manage inventory and i have tent but that can only hold so many + rosar weps
My question is how do I farm mass amounts of black stones weapon or armor I have a few +14'S OF BOTH so it doesn't matter which. Thank you in advance for responses
In the Blackstone Fortress game lore as well as the warhammertv streams about game heavily hinted that the guiding intelligence of the Blackstone Fortress purposefully dragged the ship of the Black Legion Chaos Lord Obsidius Mallex into itself and trapped it there. The defences of the Blackstone Fortresses and the Ur-Ghul Beasts do not attack Obsidius Mallex or his men. In fact, they seem to aid him against his enemies within the fortress.
The Fortresses support for the Chaos Lord went further. Check out what the Warcom community just revealed.
> If youβve played through the entire campaign from Warhammer Quest: Blackstone Fortress, youβll have celebrated the death of the Chaos Lord Obsidius Mallex, but it seems the festivities may have been prematureβ¦ Marked by eldritch xenos technology, his lifeless body has been remade by the fortress itself, even stronger than before.
> This gift came at a price, as it often does. Mallex is now inextricably linked to the Blackstone Fortress, and his connection grows with each passing moment. His mind twists with visions of the past, present and future, and his own senses have become intertwined with the station itself.
> Previously, the space station reconfigured its own layout based on some unfathomable programming, or perhaps a sort of sentience, which made it difficult to explore. Mallex, however, has created a stable base inside the fortress, which allows him to muster his forces and create defences. Cultists are being drawn to the space station like moths to a flame, swelling the Chaos Lordβs ranks with loyal servants to build these stable zones.
Now why did the Blackstone Fortress Guiding Intelligence invite Chaos infestation inside it? Why is it helping the Chaos warband grow its power within the fortress? Why did chose it to bring the Chaos Lord back to life and bond with him? Why is it giving him steady and gradual control over its systems? What's the plan here?!
