When we pray for something, we should usually be patient and know that Allah will answer it when the time is right or will give something better than it.

But can we pray like "Oh Allah, give me x today?"

If everyday, I make such a prayer asking for something for today then for each day my supplication is not answered, I will get the reward for an unaccepted supplication everyday. Is this allowed?

Imam Muhammad ibn All al-Baqir (as) said:

"A person will remain in Hell for seventy Kharif and one Kharif is equal to seventy years. However if he says, ‘O Lord! Have mercy on me for the sake of Muhammad (saws) and his progeny’ Allah will order Jibraeel (as) to go down and grant salvation to him. Jibraeel (as) will ask, ‘How should I get down in fire?’ Allah will say: I have ordered it to remain cool for you and you will not be harmed. Jibraeel (as) will ask, ‘O Lord! Tell me where is that servant of Yours?’ Allah will say that he is in the well of Sijjil. Jibraeel (as) will go there and remove him from fire. Allah will ask, ‘O slave of Mine! For how long did you remain there?’ He will reply, ‘O Lord! It is not possible for me to estimate it’. Allah will swear by His Honor and say: I would have kept you in Hell in the same state if you hadn’t prayed to Me in this way. I have made it obligatory for Myself to forgive any number of sins of one who supplicates in the name of Muhammad (saws) and his progeny just like I forgave you this day.”

I feel like my understanding of transmission in regards to germs is somewhat flawed or missing something, or I hope so at least. Could anyone perhaps ground my thoughts before they fly away even more? Running out of ideas to find people educated enough to parry and riposte my terrors.

I'm not sure if this is covered under 'medical advice' since I simply want a way to reshape my thinking of transmission....and well Psychiatrist/Psychologists wouldn't have the specialty and the few doctors I've asked about this have been quite dismissive without much explanation. I'd appreciate any information or perhaps a viewpoint that is counter to mine.

It's been 15 years, but to my understanding a colonization would be effectively immortal once it's breached the hosts nasal defenses and established said colony, right? It wouldn't just...disappear after 15 years.

I'm horrified; I see that they aren't, so I can't understand the gulf between our reactions. Every article I see says this is a nightmare and the more i try to learn the worse it...spirals out of control. So without further ado.

So to be as brief as possible 15 years ago I was in a near fatal car accident and the last week of my 3 month stay in ICU/Rehab I was told that my nasal swab tested postiive MRSA ( I imagine because they roomed me with a person who had it), and so I was 'colonized'.

I developed severe OCD from this, or I guess to say it precipitated the manifestation thereof; an overwhelming fear of protecting others from a contagious fomite disease given to me, which I'm forever a vector of.

Somehow I compartmentalized the MRSA part until like, two weeks ago (I still had OCD, the theme simply changed to a more generalized fear of contagion/germs)

It's eating me alive, the fear. I've been washing my hands for hours, showering for hours in terror. If I touch my nose it's a nightmare situation. Even using qtips where I don't make any actual contact causes a fear reflex I can't really even explain to a person without the OCD I have.

My problem is I know too much (albeit, I pray my knowledge is flawed); I'm hoping someone might be able to pry some sense into my fears? I'll start with a few questions, perhaps that'll make some sense of my terror. Any help is appreciated.

Guys, I have failed twice the exam of grade 12 and my parents promised me that if I pass the third exam, then they'll reward me with Iphone 12 Pro Max and Ipad Pro.

And my exam of grade 12 starts this June.

At least as total score to get 6 and not 5, this is all what I want.

Anas bin Malik narrated that: The Prophet (ﷺ) visited a man who was so emaciated that he had become like a baby bird. He (ﷺ) said to him: “And did you not used to supplicate? I see dozens of elephants. Have you ever seen a video of a pride of lions fighting an elephant? I will give you a hint if you never have, the claws of the lion are unable to do enough damage to the elephant's thick hide and the elephants either send the lions running after bludgeoning them like toys, or the elephant escapes. The lions almost never win. Lions are actually pretty shity hunters, something like 70% of their hunts fail.

Even without the elephants, the other inhabitants of the savannah have the obvious advantage, birds alone could swarm them. Why arent the animals fighting back?

Ibrāhim Ibn Adham said, “It is because you know Allāh and you do not obey Him, and you know the Messenger and you do not follow him or his Sunnah, and you know the Qur’ān and you do not act according to it, and you eat from the blessings of Allāh and you are not thankful for it, and you know Paradise and you do not seek it, and you know Hellfire and you do not flee from it, and you know Shaytān and you do not fight him but rather you agree with him, and you know death and you do not prepare for it, and you bury the dead and you do not learn from it, and you ignore your own faults and you are concerned with the faults of others.”
